I personally don't see how my guy is similar to the Ultrakill robot, but I'm willing to make changes if people see it as unoriginal or a bad copy. Are there any design changes you have in mind?

The ultrakill robot is blue and your robot is blue, Well when you're making a movement fps with a robot as the playermodel its almost impossible for people to think youre not copying ultrakill, If you want to avoid any ultrakill copying drama you could make the playermodel a human.... but then you would be copying dani's karlson lmao

Maybe you could have the charge bar and or ammo, built into the gun? Clears up the UI and might look really cool 🤷🏻♂️ don’t know how hard that would be
I fiddled around with putting the ammo count on the gun very early on, but figured it would be a bad idea because of how much the gun moves. I'm open to revisiting the idea in the future, though.

Layers and masks can be confusing, but it gets much easier to keep track if you name them.

when did you start on this project and when did you start with game dev/programming overall?
I started the game around mid May. Overall, I started making games in Scratch in 2018, moving to Godot in 2021.
I never used any other engine except Roblox studio, but this looks extremely good so far ngl

I would suggest an over under so you know how manny rounds are in a mag before reload, eg 8/8
