Same experience and I have had a lot of these Olfas for work. Glad you made this so I didn't have to. Should just slide out if it is unscrewed and aligned properly. Best knives ever for specific needs for sure. Keep up the good work.

Oooohh good question. I vaguely remember that being tricky. I think the answer is "very carefully" lol. I'll try to find my replacement case if it's still around, try it out and circle back.

Haha usually I grab duct or electrical tape. You know it's bad when the duct tape doesn't take!!
