i love how quiet this is. Everytime you pass a road with motor vehicles, noise becomes prevalent. Just shows how normal cities with not that great infrastructure can make one sick. I hope to one day visit oulu :)

My husband and I have done this walk so many times in multiple trips to Oulu to visit friends. We miss it so much! This brings back some great memories. Thank you.
To settle in and become a citizen of finland are my one-and-only dream. I know the journey to realise this dream is difficult, considering the fact that i make very little money, i come from a very patriarchal and dictatorial country, my family is too poor to support me financially, i am not talented or special or highly intelligent. But i'm trying. Only time will tell if i can achieve this dream or not. Your and many other finnish's videos help motivate me a lot. Thank you. (I'm very introverted and would rather be walking alone than socialise with people, so i feel confortable and calming by watching ur videos.)

Definitely the 5th largest city Oulu is in my personal top 5 favourite cities in Finland.By the way I have a friend who took a picture with "Toripollisi" and I was a little bit envy:))A lot of people with bicycles.Very good video!
I heard someone tell me this city was known for biking and as soon as I clicked on the video, the first thing I saw was 2 people riding a bike. Didn't think his description would be that accurate lol

Remember to visit Nallikari and Ainola park. There’s a free ferry ride to Hailuoto also (2 ferries with or without a car). During the summer there are many festivals and free gigs.

It was quite hot in Finnish standards, somewhere between 20-25 celcius during the filming.

That sounds like a warm day. Yeah, you can hear the difference because sound propagation varies by temperature and also humidity.

Luckily the snow reflects light really well. It may not be as dark as you assume. But well, the summers are light day and night.
It isn't real Oulu, walk in Oulu Rajakula or Toppilla or Tuira :) city center is absofreakinglutely boring
