A mini memory card/SD card extender would of been a awesome idea so you could switch your OS quickly for this one or even a M.2 in the disc tray could of been a sick idea
I agree, would love to see a psone variant for sure! I am not sure they would bother with gamecube since that console doesnt really run well on a pi4, but i can absolutely see them doing an n64 one!
Its as if the people at Retroflag never actually did their research on PlayStation hardware. I dont believe there ever was a LCD attachment for the original PSX but yes the PSOne had an official one from Sony and several aftermarket ones.
Some of y'all wanting a exact replica like Sony officially licensed this thing haha. It would have been nice if the USB 3.0 and ethernet port were brought to the back of the case and if the mini HDMIs were converted to regular hdmi but overall I'm sold. Bought it this morning and will update
Respect your opinion however the lack of ability for USB storage is a HUGE miss with both this and the upcoming SuperPi case compared to the NesPi4 case.
They missed the mark on this case design and the molded details on the front controller ports really cheapens the whole thing. Its too bad as they did a bang out job on the NES and Super Famicom cases.
@@Restalgia its too tall (I understand to make space for the Pi) the PlayStation Classic did a far better job staying true to the original design though. If the PlayStation Classic didn't exist this would be the best and only option. I also noticed the USB ports are orientated upside down at least when using PlayStation Classic controllers.
@@tonberryhunter yeah that was the first thing I noticed too about the controllers. Not the end of the world but I actually think all the retroflag cases have their ports oriented that direction
That’s pretty slick. clean and simple. Love it
Sweet, but I still prefer the NESPi 4 case and the ability to swap carts. But it would be nice to have the screen with a built in battery.
I've been wanting one of these for years but not sure if anything can replace the argon one m.2.
Dang, that’s awesome! First time seeing these cases. Def gonna be checking them out more! Def would love to see an N64 one. Still my fav console!
Wow something impressive 😎👌

Restalgia,
Wow! That bass really PUMPS!!! Watch out iiRcade :P :) Just kidding :) I'm a big fan of RetroFlag cases also. Thanks for sharing!
vgv
It would be cool if they had a psone w/screen replica or gamecube w/screen style case

Still have gamecube with screen black version great era console 👊

Dreamcast… Dreamcast should be next
thx for the video! can you do a video explaining how to install the heatsink or recommend one? thanks!@

I really hope they make a Picast for the Dreamcast.
Can you buy the screen at a later time?
Does it work with the Pi2?
Impressive ❤️
Thanks.
Very fancy, however I'm content with my PS1 mini mod. Any news on the hack for the PCEngine Mini yet old sport? It's all gone quiet....
I think they forgot about that mini console 😒
There was only a couple devs working on it and I think life got in the way. I'll poke and prod and see if theybare coming with anything
Respect your opinion however the lack of ability for USB storage is a HUGE miss with both this and the upcoming SuperPi case compared to the NesPi4 case.
You still can do USB storage but it needs to connected into one of the side USB ports. Certainly not as pretty as the nes pi case for sure
Looks awesome. Please at least show a little gameplay.....
The screen is very small and the design not that great imho. Sticking with nespi4 and it’s superior design
Was waiting for this but that Design is terrible.

I really like this case. Yes I know this model of ps1 never had a screen, but I think functionally it's a great device
