I spoke with Alesis about that issue. Here is the steps that worked for me. insert USB flash drive. Power on unit while holding metronome and BPM you will get the white screen. wait 1 minute then press main encoder. The screen will stay white and not show anything. wait 5-6 minutes then power off unit and then re-start. Unit should have new firmware 1.3.0.

Guys my upside pads are not sensitive as others. Is that a problem or normal? I must hit them more powerfull than the others.
I think that's a problem althought you should be able to change the sensitivity
My ones do this as well changing the sensitivity helps a bit but still notacible compared to the others

I update my unit just for sample manager option to delete some samplers I don't Ned it when I try to delete the unit do restart always with no delete any thing...any help

Anybody else having problems to update the firmware to 1.3? I've tried it with several usb sticks without succes. Hope there is a workaround for it.
You find a solution for it ? i only got a white screen when holding buttons and power on
@@nl_coolj8347 I had the same problem, and now the machine won't even boot up. This thing is atrocious for the amount of money it costs.
Actually, I just found a solution. First thing I would say to do, is get a USB flash drive that has an LED in it that shows you when it's active. So, I formatted mine to Fat32 per the instructions, moved the firmware file over to it, put it in the Multipad, got the white screen. I saw the USB flash drive light wasn't doing anything, so I hit the encoder anyway to give it a try, and I saw the USB start working. So, I waited for a bit until the USB stopped flashing,. shut it off, restarted it (without the USB drive inserted) and it worked just fine. Give that a go and see if it works.

I tryed it with a 2 GB FAT32 diskdrive and its a mirracle... 't Just hold the buttons and after the power on i released them. After that i just pushed the enter button and let it stay for 10 minuten. After the 10 minutes i turned off the device and remover the usb diskdrive.... and yes its syas 1.3.0 now

@@InclusiveMusic 1. Undo function on looper. 2. Quantize record on looper 3. Quantize start option when triggering loops from pads 4. Synch FX (especially delay) with tempo 5. Beat matching of sample loops for tempo sync.
my brand new unit (second one) will not update I get the white screen, and it won't play my samples ( I have everything formatted correctly) The new unit comes with V1.0 I have had this unit before until it went south and they replaced it....second one received today does not work

That's a great question and I don't know the answer. I'd guess the answer is No because no one would update if that was the case. I think it best to pose the question to Alesis.
A factory reset on the Strike Multipad will remove any stored User kits and revert all original presets back to their default settings. Please be sure to back up all user preset kits to a USB drive before performing the reset.
To access the factory reset:
Press the Utility button.
Select Backup (F6).
Use the encoder knob to find and select Restore Factory Settings.
The Multipad will restart.

How the h**l do you update this PoC when you're on a M1 mac? You can't format a USB-drive to 32FAT on mac, god damnit!
