  • A Stroh's beer bottle was found with a note inside of it while crews were taking down a wall at Detroit's Michigan Central Station. The note was from 1913, when the train depot was being built.

Time flys, 110 years ago isn't really that long ago

I just wish those two dudes back in 1913 getting drunk on the job and doing this on a whim just for fun could see people now handling it with white gloves and treating it like some kind of priceless treasure.
    🤣😂🤣😂

The work these people did back then was top European craftsmanship unlike most things made today in America out of particle board

This is amazing!! I hope they keep the artifacts in some safe museum setting there for folks to learn from for years to come. What an incredible historic renovation!! So proud of my hometown!! Excited to see this complete in the next few months.

What a huge waste of money. It's in a crappy part of town. Odds are it will never be fully used, or even cover the cost of the millions and millions of dollars they are pouring into it!

Your opinion is false and meaningless.

i mean, what if this project helps make that part of town less crappy? and what are you basing your odds of success on? and what do you care what money ford puts into it, they can do what they want with it.

You're incorrect. This area is revitalizing and with this near $1 billion investment, odds are it will continue to prosper. Look at Columbus Ohio or Pittsburgh PA for examples of areas in which investment has allowed once downtrodden areas to now flourish.
