But Hargreaves eventually came to his senses and didn't press the issue any further during the tribunal. There was another Mountie superintendent, whose name escapes me at the moment, who was involved with the counterfeiting scheme counterfeiting scheme back in Season 2, the one that Bill Avery was investigating. But he was eventually arrested.
I've listened to you several times now and enjoy some of your perspectives. However, I feel I need to speak up. I've heard you say twice this week that the railroad didn't come to town when it actually did. The line was put in 1/2 mile North of town in S4. In S5 they built the station. We saw a whole storyline about it ending with Lee's wagons taking lumber to the site. They've redone Gowen Petroleum (now the daycare) as the set for the inside of the railroad station several times in S7 and we even saw Elizabeth and Nathan ride there and find Tom there this last episode (you can be sure they wouldn't have ridden Newton all of the way to Union City. That should take at least a couple of days by horse). The stagecoach took passengers to and from the train and now the taxi service does. Carson even walked the 1/2 mile in the S7 Christmas movie and then we saw him and Faith missing each other there in the station. I think labeling the station as Union City in S10 for the breakup was confusing. My conclusion is that it was a mistake and it was supposed to be Hope Valley or Lucas and Elizabeth traveled the few hours to Union City by car so he could catch the express train. If so that just makes Elizabeth waiting 3 hours of a car ride to break up with him more cruel. It wasn't clear and obviously caused confusion. The facts remain that there's been a railroad station 1/2 mile out of town since S5.
Hello. The railroad is not in Hope Valley. They may have redone one of the sets, but you have to drive to get to it. Go back and watch. They had hoped that it would be a big part of Hope Valley and it wasn’t.
Henry is being wasted. What is his role now? Raising hazelnuts? Saving Lucas from ruin? It almost seems like his scenes are all being cut so we can be treated to more and more and more and more and more and more and more and more and more and more and more E/N. I'm thinking of writing a fanfic where Henry is dragged into the mobster storyline, what with his knowledge of the 'demimonde'. A scene I want to write is him mishearing Bill asking him, "What do you know about mobsters?". "Well, you drop them in boiling water, and then you crack them open and eat the meat with butter sauce...". "MOBSTERS, Henry! Mobsters!". "Oh. Same difference."
I too am finding the show so slow .It’s nice to watch but nothing exciting ever happens like in other seasons.Its boring .L&E getting married would have been much more exciting.I don’t like the short scenes either. But I always enjoy your podcasts.
I'm sorry but I am not enjoying this season at all. So far it has been boring. The writing in my opinion is terrible. They are making Nathan look like a love sick teenager instead of a grown man.

For the pacing , I thought it was a little slower but it will connect with the story with Tom , and the choir next episode .
