sometimes it's experimentation, sometimes the dynamic handling response is where it needs to be and you're trying to dial in the steady state balance. now in days, i get the tire pressures near perfect based on temps and rollover and tune the handling response with shocks.
Factory claims on 04 and 05 models were around 2880 -2940 full tank of fuel. With 1/4 tank, lighter seats, lighter exhaust, battery, flywheel, wheels, intake, suspension, removed tools and Jack, all small but add up.
With my rollbar I'm back up to 2750 these days. But weight isn't as critical as everybody including myself has made it. Good tires good driving and well setup quality suspension will take you far in autocross... just read rules ahead of time and plan mods accordingly if you want to be competitive
Haven’t watched your vids in a while but awesome to see you’ve now got the 4.77 final drive... that’s all it was missing!
Dude, this car RIPS with that diff!! OMG
Awesome stuff! Love the content you put out! Makes me always come back for more! :D
Great video!!!!
Very informative video.
What made you decide to adjust tire pressure rather than rear shocks on your second adjustment?

Matt, how did you get it down to 2700#? Factory curb weight claims around 3k. Just bought one for autocross myself, thanks.
