For a guy who really screams and wails on the recordings of his songs, Josh is very soft spoken
The way he talks about us warms my heart. When he’s telling you how you’d be pleasantly surprised at the GVF crowds and that we are open and intelligent, I felt like the grinch when his heart grows two sizes.
Love being a member of the peaceful army!! Their music really is a spiritual experience!

The answer to why all kinds of people go to their shows, white, black, asian, mexican, old and young.....etc, is because they are that F**** great, period. They are a breath of fresh air, authentic, and most importantly they kick royal ass, period. That's why right there.

Their music has changed my life. No …..I’m serious. Even before Covid I found these guys. Then I got Covid and nearly died. I was home for over a month. And then after I went back to work I got sick again and stayed home for 5 1/2 weeks. These guys and their music pulled me out of it. I seriously thought there was no way I could pull out. Their music is so spiritual and uplifting.

Yes, The Peaceful Army most certainly know how intelligent all of the guys are, without a doubt! They and their parents are all amazing and it's not just chance that they made it as far as they have in such a short time. We definitely recognize and appreciate the talent and effort they expend for all of us who have enough intelligence to see and hear it. Thank you Greta and thank you Melissa!

@@monkeymonkeyof300 Yes they have that affect! I've driven 8 hours or more to see them, even had to fly one time, but they're so worth it. I literally moved from Kansas to Wisconsin because they always play either in Madison, Milwaukee or Chicago every tour, plus I'm next door to Michigan now, so I plan to make the pilgrimage to Frankenmuth one of these days.
@@kindking8009 wow..im from Wisconsin..Janesville.but im in Indiana now..only a couple hours drive..i wouldnt have been able to go otherwise..im hoping in august to go to Frankenmuth after i visit Wisconsin to see family🥰
I wish I wasn’t so late to the journey of Greta van fleet. Heard them when they first came out and loved it because of my love for the band who will not be named they had a sound similar to 😏 I named one of my sons after them. Anywho, every song on their latest album is legendary and I hope they realize their sound and music is bringing generations and backgrounds together like Bob Marley did (Named my daughter after him) and Jimi Hendrix(named my other son after him) Their shows must have a Woodstock energy to them. So incredible. I wish I knew these guys like you do because I feel there’s something special and awesome about them and their music. Love watching their interviews as much as their music. They’re very multi talented intellectuals and artists. In a way I want the whole world to really listen to their whole album and just have this wave of mindfulness, happiness and joy to help get this awfulness out of the world. I feel like if they don’t get the recognition of what their doing in their lifetime, they will be remembered later on for this wonderful masterpiece of a thing they’re creating.

omg so i saw gvf last night in pittsburgh opening for metallica and it was AMAZING but today i have post concert depression 🥲 so watching all these videos with josh and his mom just makes me so happy thank you Melissa!!!
Hey! They're coming to Allentown in October and then Atlantic City in December for their last show! You should do a road trip and go see them, we're going to the one in AC. I know that after concert depression! You need to see them again before the tour is over!

We were fortunate to go see GVF in Miami in May 2019 it was an incredible show!!! I was so amazed to see the variety of peoples that were in attendance…all colors, all ages speaking so many languages and all having a great time. It was unlike any other concert I’ve attended, and I’ve been to many…
