You can go to the docks early , like 6am and bargain and get the same type of boat the tours(20) passenger use for a fraction of the price. The deal we cut was 3500 for 10 hours , we got to pick and chose our islands . Also brought food so the crew whipped up a good shrimp lunch and we supplied the drinks .

(Most probably, the electrical infrastructure there is way better.) There are volcanoes, rice terraces, the cooler climates, mountains, and tattoos to experience there. Nice video man. As you mention at the beginning, traveling is not always easy. We were in The Philippines last month and we lost our drone and had a motorbike accident, among other things. But overall it's more than worth it. Nice to see those places again. Take care!

Technically those islands are own by the natives they are (autonomous/self governing) they only allow limited islands to be visited by tourist both local and foreign. There are more beautiful islands which the natives closed to the public which they considered religious and the gods live.

What is the best travel insurance?.
When the infrastructure is fixed that's when tourism to Philippines will explode. For some reason the gov doesn't think about digital nomads...
Wifi o internet is still a big problem in the Philippines….terrible, how i wish our present new govt will do a new perfect internet for the whole country.
I think if its low tide if the service rendered is great they can take you early by using canoe so you could get off early as what is agreed upon booking...palawan is very beautifuland worth to visit but for that company i dont think your moneys worth...and power cuts is common in the philippines due to lazy governance and corrupt practices of politicians
I had the same delay situation with the tour company we booked with in 2017. We were there before 7am as agreed even had an early hurried breakfast only to find out for unknown reason the boat operator didn’t show up so we waited for another boat operator and guide ‘till past 10 am. It was also a private tour but all the inconveniences and frustrations went away when we reached the islands and yes we enjoyed our time basking under the sun and the beautiful surreal blue waters.

I know that there are islands for sale in Palawan. But i didn't know it was in the area where they do island hopping tours. Will have to look into that one time. But if they're being sold, then that means someone has already privately owned them from way back, maybe even before the tours began. Coz In our law, no public land can be acquired by private persons without any grant from the government. But yeah, it's also possible that someone in power may have pulled some strings to acquire them.

Hey Chris and Carol, that was a surprise to see that there's a speed boat tour. We always see the normal tour boat with plenty of people. That's a great option if you prefer different tour spots, and can relax without any pressure. Sorry, to hear you're leaving, but thanks for all the videos again. We haven't missed your videos in the Philippines. See you guys again.

For places like El Nido, you have to choose accommodations with back up generators. They cost more to stay at but it's worth it to have more reliable electricity during your stay.
