I met Amando about 8 years ago. She was singing at a wedding where all the band members were friends with my nephew and his soon-to-be bride.
We clicked immediately, as she transmitted happiness, peace, laughter, and a tremendous singing talent. Amanda, Gelpi, as we know her, is a multifaceted artist capable of singing the blues and Latin music with Celia Cruz touches. She is an artist, a designer, and an entrepreneur who, from a very young age, learned from her parents the grace of working for yourself and growing in a world where anything is possible when you believe.
