- Similar to the Final Tribal Council in Survivor, the Jury Q&A is that one special moment each season where the finalists get to pitch their case to the jury for why they deserve to win, and in turn the jury get to grill the finalists with several questions.

Paul not owning up to anything in bb19 was the worst performance for me. Sure it wasn't a hot mess like these 5, but unlike them Paul was the better player and I do believe his performance could've cost him that one vote to win.
ali ka I think Paul screwed up 10x more in his GBM’s. His jury Q&A wasn’t good but I don’t think it was bottom 5.
Peridiam Fair enough. However, I'm listing it as bottom 5 because of the outcome. I still think he could've got Jason's vote had he owned up to his moves and apologized. A bad Q&A performance that "possibly" costs you the win is worse than a horrible performance when you don't stand a chance in the first place imo, but I totally see your point ❤
I totally agree. Mark or Elena, possibly both, and definitley Alex could have been won over if he had just answered honestly. It really was mind blowing to watch a player sabatoge themselves like that with a totally ridiculous and laughable Q&A strategy.
Peridiam agreed, his jury Q&A was horrible but what really screwed him was when he would say goodbye to someone and tell them “I don’t know what happened I’m so sorry” and Josh would pop up next and say “Got you!!! Paul Christmas and I planned this whole thing”. I also believe that Josh began beating Paul at that point too, not just in the final plea.
@@caitlinbishop6624 that's definitely a great point but remember it would be really easy to totally neutralize that advantage for Josh by ultimately owning your game at finale night. Maybe he was screwed already but I'm very confident that by not making the baffling decision to continue to lie to a jury that he knew must have figured him out he would have won. Don't get me wrong I absolutely despised both Paul and that whole season, but he was the better player and he sabotaged himself

GinaMarie is like that in real life, too. I met her at a convention when BB18 was on and we were talking about who we thought was going to win (It was a week in) and she never gave a direct answer. It’s wild.

Memphis basically handed dan the win...dan deserved the win ...but Memphis just handed it to him willingly it seemed lol...
i mean that's what happens when you have 2 people who form a genuine bond and friendship over the course of a season, they come to know that this person who they genuinely like and realize that even the runner up money can greatly impact their life so they choose being loyal and helping out their new friend in an incredible way financially over a guaranteed win, which is what we saw with cody and derrick in BB16 And Kaycee and Tyler in BB20
Ummmmmm Paul from bb19 was pretty bad. He would’ve won if he owned his game. He just deflected and ignored all the questions. He’s honestly worse than Ginamarie.
Nick Petrella I was actually shocked Paul didn't make it for both of his jury Q and A's it was the same story both times wouldn't own his game or he would avoid questions and didn't come off as genuine at all, and lost by one vote both times
@@ramprat5812 He also straight up LIED during the BB19 final, which just blew my mind. He's already there, and he knows the jury had a chance to compare notes, so why do that?
I thought he'd learn from BB18 but his answers were even worse in BB19. I think he thought he had it in the bag cause he didn't know about Josh's goodbye messages. He probably thought why would they vote for Josh who banged pots and pans all summer over the guy they basically worshipped the second he walked in the house
If you say that to him on Twitter he’ll talk about how the pact made in jury (it was to vote for anyone but Paul to win) prevented him from winning. But he doesn’t seem to understand WHYY that pact was made in the first place
Yeah he thinks the juries are against him. After BB18 ended, during an interview with Jeff and James, James told him the jury wanted a woman to win so now he's convinced he only lost because he's a man, not because of poor jury management.

Peridiam i have a video request. You did a cast for survivor heroes vs villains 2 and rivals, as well as all stars 2 for big brother. What if we had a big brother heroes vs villains or 8 pairs of rivals. I'd like to know if you would consider this and who you think would be on the cast. Keep up the great videos.

@@BgcBad would it necessarily need to be a team on team format? It could be similar to a survivor merge just from the start, with 8 heroes and 8 villains.
With BB, they would have to do some form of duos twist, where if one arch rival target another, they screw themselves. Best way would either be how BBUS6 did it (if you bring your arch rival l, the prize money for both of your increases, like the amount in BBUS6- 250k for 2nd and 1 mil for first) or increase the cast to about 20 or 22 and eliminate duos until 12 (10 if there’s a perjury battle back) where the game to being played individually at that point.
For an all-stars Rivals cast, Jackson or Nick with Christie or even Jess and Jack would be good picks. Brett and Scottie, Kaitlyn and Swaggy C and/or Tyler or Haleigh would be good from from last season. From Canada, Cory and Adam, Ika and Neda, or Erica and Kaela. Older picks would be Daniele Donato and Rachel Riley, Alec and Jillian from BBCan1, Jon and Arlie from BBCAN2, Janelle and Boogie, etc. One interesting pick for this could be James and Natalie from BBUS18. Despite being in showmance, I’ve read they have a pretty bad break-up.
@@marklisowski6549 I love your idea of BBUS6 as far as rivals being paired and the dynamic that would add to the game. I don't think they need to be joined together by format. But instead, just like BBUS6 and have them pairs with extra money if they can stand eachother enough to bring eachother to the end.

Holly will have one of the worst jury q and as ever tonight mark my words. Will prolly just ramble on about that comp she threw “ThAt WaS mAdE fOr HeR” and just say how she didn’t get carried by Michie the whole game without giving examples of how
Against Nicole she would actually blow through her but I still think she can do fine against Michie, definitely won’t win unless we have a bitter jury tonight but she did have a solid game for a good while.
Matthew Rubenstein We’ll see 😂 I’ve got all my eggs in Jackson’s basket to win and Holly will definitely get some votes so I really don’t think it’s going to be a blowout.
She really hasn’t done much in the game and it’s gonna be hard for her to convince the jury she played her own game when Jackson dragged her through the second half of the game. Not to mention every time she talks for an extended period of time she starts rambling on and makes no sense
Taz Goat As a duo they’re really good and through the first half it relied on Holly using social skills to help her and Jackson and then the second half was Jackson’s physical/mental skills which got them through.
I think Holly is almost certain to win though (provided she goes against Michie). This is one of the most bitter jury houses ive ever seen and absolutley nothing Michie says will convince them.
Michie vs Holly, I think he gets Nick and maybe Jack, obviously Holly gets the rest.

Erika’s manipulation of both Mike and Janelle was amazing in All Stars. Will was terrified of her, and Will wasn’t even afraid of Danielle, the one player who could have beaten him in the Final 2. Her performance in the Jury questioning was abysmal, but she was fighting a massive uphill battle. Will, Janelle, and Danielle were all actively campaigning against her in the Jury House, and Howie, James, and even Chicken George weren’t too keen on giving her their votes anyway.

Nick carrying Phil during the jury questioning is very reflective of their performance the entire season. I wish Nick would get a chance on his own because i think he genuinely is a decent player

There was no good outcome there. Either the brothers who tried to evict themselves or Kelsey who successfully evicted herself to get Raul more tv time.

I'd like to add Ricky's jury performance from Celebrity Big Brother 2. His responses were so lackluster and nonchalant. I thought he a had a legit chance of winning until that point. Totally handed the win to Tamar

I feel like Anthony from BBCan 7 deserves an (dis?)honorable mention. All he did was try to guilt people into feeling like he kept them safe throughout the game and talk about how he was never on the block

I still have no idea why the Jury vote was so close in BB12.
I can sort of understand Britney, since she and Lane were fairly close during the game, but where the heck did Rachel's and Brendon's votes come from? For two people who preach about "Wanting people who actually compete to win the game" why do they go with the guy who won only competition as oppose to five?
Apparently Britney told Brenchel that Hayden said Brendon had a needled*ck. This was true but what she conveniently left out was that Lane said it as well in order to help Lane win
I didn't get that either. Hayden was a far superior player to Lane, Brenchel did admit they wish they voted for Hayden, however it's good Hayden still won. Same thing with BB5 Drew was a far superior player to Cowboy but it was a 4-3 vote. Fortunately Drew still won and got voted he needed despite the twins dumb votes
Also Rachel and Brendon ik people love them but they really didn't read the game well especially in season 12 as had it not been for comps they would've been early exits

Id have to say that Liz has the worst performance imo.
Comstantly saying uhhh stumbling over her words, giving the same answer to a lot of questions. I loved Liz and was rootimg for her but I feel like the Jury Q n A made her lose
She had SO much she could have said: that she survived the twin twist, she survived despite being in a showmance, she won an insane amount of competitions, and was in the most dominating alliance (and therefore knew what was happening most of the time). And on the one week where everyone tried to sabotage her, she won the battle of the block comp to make herself safe.
MidnightUmbra I actually didn’t mind Liz’s performance nearly as much as I expected on rewatch. Maybe I just had low expectations and she exceeded them. I thought these 5/6 were a bit worse.
@@Peridiam fair enough. Liz was just the first person I reallllly noticed did a bad job when I was doing my first watch of the whole series before diving deep into it, so it definitely sticks in my mind more than others
I will always remember her finger snaps (the most memorable moment). I agree, her's was not good!

Tidbit, a reason the Hayden V. Lane vote was so close was in part to him commenting in the house that Brendan had a "needle dick," thus this, probably among other things, cost him Rachael and Brendans vote.

I don't really think Liz had a good Jury Performance. She snapped her fingers and pointed at the Jury every time she was asked a question. It felt really forced. I know she had Austin and Julia on her side, but I still don't think she had a good one!

Liz bb17. I love liz but all her speech was was "I fought I had a twin i fought I had a twin" and considering that if she actually made her case and she had a case to win maybe she could have won. She didn't give them any reason to vote for her whatsoever.
The look on jessies face when ginamarie flops is priceless. Easily my facorite player of that awful season .

@@Peridiam Thanks for replying! Fair enough. I'm not sure he could've said anything to win either, expect maybe focusing hard on how he wasn't nominated & how he wasn't even IN the large/dominant alliance but was never their target. For me, he made a much stronger case for why Cody should win over himself.
The problem with drew and Phil as bad as they were Kelsey was even worse. The 2 votes she got she was always getting. The jury was utterly baffled as to who to vote for. The jury didn’t respect the pax bro’s but Kelsey made it impossible for them to vote for her. Easily worst f2 ( or 3) ever. I wish Tim hadn’t quit part 2. He wasn’t the greatest player ever but anyone would have been better than what we got. Also that season was the 1st of 3 straight seasons from which the edit on the show being quite different from the feeds. Seasons 5 and were particularly bad for this.

Honestly, I don’t think the questions matter that much. I think as soon as jury knows who the final two are they know who they’re voting for. Especially in the last few seasons. They don’t care about game play, it’s all about who they like more...or hate less.
They mattered more in the BB2-10 format, where it wasn't completely live, and had some time to think about things. The quesitionings were also a lot longer.
I wish I could’ve seen BB15’s pre-jury competitors play and make it further...
Same especially Nick, once he got evicted ik the season was gonna be awful. Nick and Howard were the only players I liked everyone else I hated or didn't care for
I'm surprised Paul's speech on BB19 wasn't in this list. Literally all he had to do to win was own that he lied, schemed, and manipulated his way to the final two, but he continued to lie and not own up to anything, and that really did him in, because when Mark, who was Josh's main target the entire season, voted for him over Paul, then you know that Paul really messed up. I would say he messed up on BB18 as well, but honestly, he had that one lost the moment he chose to take Nicole to the end, because a smarter player would've counted up potential jury votes and realized that he had a better chance if he was sitting next to James instead, since even before the speeches took place, Nicole already had 4 votes compared to Paul's 2, while James didn't seem to have any locks other than Natalie and Michelle
Dishonorable mentioned- Paul from BBUS19- I don’t know who he is to trying to fool. Kaycee, despite winning last season, over how talked about her social game with out giving examples to discuss how social game made for social strategy. Also, someone mentioned Jillian from BBCan1; she should have lost if weren’t for Topaz being 150% secure in vote that she never bothered looking down to double check she was securing Gary’s vote and not Jillian’s.

I know I was shocked to hear about her passing and sad that it was in part to her mental illness. CV-19 mandates have taken a lot from people, and most of the time the mandates were/are not even considered to be the reason people committed suicide, lost their jobs, livelihoods, etc. We are just supposed to accept it and move on.
She thrived in a social environment and without being about to go out and/or see people, her anxiety got the better of her.
Very on point for the most part, Kelsey's answers though were just as bad as the brothers to be honest

Lyoko I hope Nicole wins but that’s probably not happening. I’m fairly indifferent to the other two. I’d prefer Jackson, I think, because he had way more agency in the game, even if he’s not my cup of tea. I’m going into S39 completely fresh, so no idea. I just hope Rob/Sandra don’t eat up too much airtime.
@@Peridiam yeah Jackson game was good but I don't like the fact he got cheated out of slop and the whole production favouring him
Lyoko Production has never favored him and then slop had been cancelled for health reasons.
Just to throw an argument an favor of Paul's (his arrogance's really) defense, the cast was so idiotic and sheepish that they agreed to whatever he said throughout the season. It could be that he relied on using the same arrogance might make them believe that he still is god for pulling off all the tricks

Love your videos, @Peridiam, and this one was great (wish we could have heard more audio from the players, but I understand copyright stuff). However, *BB15 does not exist!* That was the worst season this side of *BB20* (the *dumberest* season). After all the racism, 15 ends with a Rat-Andy win. The Horror. The Horror. The Horror.
