That is a dream vehicle/shelter. Enjoying the outdoors shouldn't have to mean going without or suffering. That vehicle will give you so much freedom and also so much access. By having the portable home, you can enjoy more outdoors, as ironic as that sounds. You can even take your pup to places that you wouldn't normally be able to take her. So cool...
Congratulations Vee, been watching since the early days and thrilled for you. We've had a few campers over the years and took our young kids for their first camper van holiday last summer - a fab month in Austria, Switzerland and France. you've really done your homework with this conversion. You can never have enough independent battery power, water, heat, gas etc. Here's wishing you many happy times and adventures ahead. :)
Hi Max, thanks for your support of my vids for so long! SO you are a bit of a camper van guru and I bet the kids absolutely loved that holiday in your van. I had done a lot of research and knew what I wanted and the guys were really really helpful in giving advice and suggestions too. Yes I agree about the power side as its a pain to be limited in that respect. a.t.b. vee
Yes great van ,Darren and Terry are building mine now waited nearly a year for my space but hey don't mess with the best cause the best don't mess with the rest!!
wow this is perfect but its right hand drive but wow simple and very nice.. i dont know what to say its very nice. wanna add: salute to the people who made this van.
Hello from a woman fellow bushcrafter in the US and congratulations!! I have wanted to convert a van for several years now so I can appreciate your excitement. Hope you and Sky have a blast traveling!
Hi there Fran, yeah fellow bush crafter! It has been a dream of mine for a very long time too. I think in the states you can almost certainly do more wildcampng in the van than in the UK as we are way more overcrowded and all land is private, however there are still many adventures to be had here! a.t.b. Vee
So far i'ts one of the best vans i've seen. It's clean, well built, with the necessary elements and most important a bathroom, because i've seen a lot of medium, large and extra large vans that don't have a bathroom. Enjoy it in good health...!!
thank you and yes I am so lucky as they did a wonderful job on it and I have learnt so much in the process. The bathroom is very useful and I would disagree with anyone who feels that a bathroom is necessary. Everything has its place and I have kitted it out with the same principles as when I go backpacking so nothing uneccesary. a.t.b. Vee
Hi; Great video, this popped on the You Tube override function when I was searching for another bushcraft video. I'm glad it did.. A few years ago we rented the passenger version of this van direct from Peugeot at the Paris Airport. It was brand new and way cheaper than renting from a rental company. It transported eight of us along with all of our Canuck luggage through several countries in Europe. The turbo charged 2.6 litre engine that we had in ours provided exceptional power and fuel economy. The only thing with ours is that the air conditioning vents were only the front dash, so passengers in the back roasted in the hot Italian summer heat.!!. The conversion company provided a excellent use of space in this unit with many extra features.. Greetings from Western Canada.
Wow Vee, I've looked at many, many van conversions both in the UK and the USA, and yours is right up there with the very best I've seen. Very well thought out. Well done.
This awesome bushcraft channel and the video she makes are great way for people to learn things about outside and learning too and I am glad to support this amazing woman and her amazing bushcraft channel 👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍😀😀😀😀😀😀😀😀😀😀😀😀😀😀😀😀😀😀⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏🇬🇧🇬🇧
WOW what a piece of kit, I had questions as you when along, you answered them. Sky looks very happy on that bed. From my past experience spend as much time with your puppy .. just because ..
hahaha vees vantaculars love it! Sky has already decided that her spot is on my bed! She is so not a wild camper and really likes every comfort on offer! a.t.b. vee
That's brilliant! And your excitement about it really comes across, which is lovely. The pv and LPG are great touches, and I'm pleased to see that Sky is fully catered for :). Hope you have some wonderful adventures
Absolutely amazing van and conversion......I've just watched a dream of mine come true. Sadly for me it's you (and not me!) who's smiling non stop! Love all the very practical extra's. Hope you have amazing adventures and memories.
Nice van Vee, looks like the van conversion was well done too. Enough room for a disco, now, if only I was younger! That's just got be the most luxurious dog kennel on the road.
Thanks and yes Sky has landed on her feet ( or paws) with my getting this van as she does not have to suffer the cold wet tent ( though I actually still want to wild camp when I can as love it). As for disco lights haha, I feel a video coming on for that idea! lol! a.t.b. vee
Terrific, congratulations. I had a Fleetwood Pioneer Spirit 18ck travel trailer for 4 years with many similar features to your van and my son and I had some wonderful trips. It stayed nice and warm in the winter and in inclement weather, too. I miss having it and I'm considering buying a small motorhome. I look forward to the videos of your adventures in your new base camp!
I've watched a lot of these "Van Conversion" builds, and I have to say, I think yours takes the cake! I can't think of anything else I would want, or would have done differently! Awesome stuff!
Great Van Vee. Looks like they did a brilliant job on it. I like the gas tank, a lot cheaper to fill than those bottled ones. I have been using a13kg tank in my caravan for the past two years and its still got loads in it. You will have some vantastic adventures im sure.
Lovely van ! You've ticked all the right boxes I reckon... You can buy a car charger for your laptop on Amazon ... As you say, an inverter is a bit of a waste, ramping up the voltage only to ramp it down again via the laptop charger. If you don't have a bin, I'd recommend the 'Simple Human 10 Litre, as it can fit behind the cab seats and is designed to use carrier bags. Other than that, I'd suggest a plastic tray for food and drink prep... It stops bits of food, crumbs and spills, from dirtying the floor etc. Nice Canon lens by the look of it... I used to use a 5D with a 70/200 IS 2.8 L ... Gorgeous bokeh... Anyway congratulations :) loads of fun to be had with the new vehicle ! .... J
Very well set up! I'm at the beginning of my journey, researching what kind of living space I want so I can go full-time RVing. I thought I wanted a class c motorhome, but now I'm leaning towards the smaller class b so I can go more places. Love the way your van was built, loads of storage, well thought out. Thanks for the video and safe journey!!
Great video I have the same van from Darren and Terry I think you came to look at it at my place in Gillingham, you certainly did a great job with the video and showed the good work that Affordable Van Conversions do. Enjoy your camping with Sky.Mike
'mornin, Vee & Sky; Now you're styling Gal's. Wonderfulset-up for whenever you need a road trip. Leave all the woories behind & Explore, Don't forget to bring us along on one of your future trips,Please ! ATB Terry God Bless
Wow! It's just the right size and plenty of storage. You never see a stove that size in a Class B RV here in the US, and the cassette toilet I've never seen either. Best wishes! I will be following along on the RUclips channel.
Congratulations Vee, you'll have some great times in that and get to see some fantastic places that you wouldn't have otherwise seen without it, i'm sure. I had them way back in the 1980s and 1990s, great memories, thinking of getting another now, thanks and goodluck...
Thanks James, I am so very happy to have this dream come true. As you say I will get to see places that I would not have discovered when not so self sufficient and able to live off grid for days at a time. I think you should get one too.. go for it! a.t.b vee
This is one of the better van videos on RUclips, nicely produced. I'm in the States (from England) and also dream of traveling the country in a van, or maybe a small camper behind my Toyota FJ. I camped for five weeks last summer and love the outdoors. If you haven't been to Colorado, make sure you make the trip. Try and also see Western Colorado - Ouray / Teluride, then drive on to Moab, Utah only two hours West. My 81 y/o mom - solo adventurer is currently traveling the U.K. - I shared your video with her :-) She's a birder and will love the presentation. Thanks again, Cheers. Have fun adventuring.
Holy 💩 that's a great set up ! I was just talking to Tim (tank tracks) about how I'd like to start at the southern end of the UK and drive all the way North . That would be the way to go . Congrats Vee ! Always, nice to finally get something you've always wanted .
outofeden ( Bushcraft & Survival ) hi there! I'm so super lucky to have this van and will use its potential to the full! I'll be filming as much of my adventures as possible to share with you. Hey we can do a road trip if you head over here! Best wishes Vee
Congrats, Vee. I've absolutely loved my little Vanagon camper since I got it a few years back. Van life entails a wonderful learning curve. Looking forward to your adventures.
What a great vehicle, full of innovations. It makes my 1982, 22 foot GMC Motorhome look extremely primitive. When I first bought my motorhome 7 years ago I foolishly drove it all the way up to the Yukon (over 2,000kms, or 1200 miles), almost costing me as much in petrol as I paid for it...LOL! Anyway Vee, I hope you have many happy adventures ahead of you. All the Best from BC.
Wow, nice! you and Sky will have many great adventures exploring your wonderful country in that magnificent classB. Your video was oddly charming and even inspiring a bit so good on ya!
Very impressive use of the space and the function of the layout seems perfectly suited for all your needs. Thanks for posting - terrific tour. Best of luck in the coming years enjoying the outdoors.
Every girl deserves being spoilt and your going to be with this, really lovely van and good job done. Some rough prices would have been good just as an idea, not being nosey though. And glad to see the dog has the best spot, it don't take them long to work out the best place in the house. Enjoy and hope you have very many safe and happy miles, great vids keep them coming ;-)
Now that is what I'd call...Awesome!!! Cannot wait to see what new adventures come your way with this fabulous explorer. The world is truly your oyster, Vee. Good luck and take care...
+Reallybigmonkey1 hi there! Great to hear from you and yes cant pretend my van is 'roughing it' ! Still want to be out doing my tarp and bivi camping too . So not gone totally soft! Hope all well with you . Best wishes Vee
something I would have if I had somewhere to park ! where I live we can't have vans etc on the drive so no can do at the moment. really nice set up and as per normal a great video. thanks for sharing ! atb Rob
Congratulations on your new acquisition! It looks amazing! I'm sure you'll be creating awesome memories with it in no time (which I hope you'll share with us every once in a while. 😊)
thanks Linda, re storage, I wanted an enclosed area where I could put all my camping, bushcraft gear which I didnt want in the actual living bit. it works really well I think a.t.b. Vee
Brian Simons Nothing wrong with that, it depends on where the car was made as well as the country it is in. 1/3 of the countries in the world, like mine, drive on the left side of the road.
OMG!! this is my dream! you go girl!! the stove is the best. its all so perfect. i was going to ask about the mileage but you said it uses LPG. we dont have that option in the US. thanks so much for sharing.
Well, what can I say about this video Vee....Wow! You lucky girl! Looks like they've done an amazing job with the conversation for you! Looks like you'll have many a good night out in that new baby of yours. Look forward to more videos where you'll be out and about in this lovely new van. Beat wishes from Kent - Steve
Thanks Steve, I am indeed very very lucky and to have found two great guys to have done such a brilliant job converting it too. More vids will rolll out now but would be nice if the skies were not so rainy ! a.t.b. vee
Thanks Debora! It is totally perfect ( in my eyes!) well my dream is now to just get out there more and soak up all that the wilder places have to offer! a.t.b vee
bring that over to Australia ,and tour around here. excellent job and I can understand your eagerness to get out and about , well done can't wait to more adventures.
Amazing van! I just wonder if the underslung gas bottle and water tanks are high enough off the ground to avoid being punctured by rocks and such. Just the sort of layout I have always wanted too. Have a wonderful time travelling around beautiful Britain.
Oh wow, this campervan is flawless! And its kinda like a bugout vehicle too (im into Bushcraft as well)! You're right, they did a brilliant job with the interior design! Very nice rig...you go girl! Cheers from NYC
Thanks Roberta! Yes it is kind of bug out design which is what I wanted as I see it as functional and able to sustain me for long periods. It is not 4 wheel drive so am limited to keeping it on hard ground but thats no big deal. a.t.b. Vee
That's so incredible! What a dream. There are some Facebook groups for people living from vans which I bet will be handy. Looks like a dream! Well done.
Lovely van. I suggest you get some levelling chocks, as sleeping on a slope is not too comfy, and some "mud mats" to put under the driven (front)wheels if you are trying to drive off mud. How do I know this? We have a VW T4 camper van....... I hope and expect that you will have a lovely time with the van. Hope to see you out on the road somewhen.
Hi Paul, good tips re the chocks and have the mud mats already but I know that the 2wd vans are pants in the mud so will avoid softish ground or indeed even wet grass ( though I have swopped out the tyres for winter season ones as I researched them and seemed slightly better red grip). oh the VW T4, great van iconic really. bet you have good adventures in that! a.t.b. vee
So cool...
musta cost a fortune, it's very smart. you lucky bugger. Aww, you're so excited showing us, I would be. Happy adventures in your new nomadic home
Cherish every waking moment with Sky, she must be your absolute best friend,
Superb!
This long-term off grid boat dweller is very impressed!

This is the best spec van conversion I've seen on here so far in terms of gas and plumbing especially. I am envious indeed lol
Some serious van-envy here!
"Sky" @15:22 🙄.. She is adorable...
Super build.. I wish u happy trails, peace, love n light...
Yes great van ,Darren and Terry are building mine now waited nearly a year for my space but hey don't mess with the best cause the best don't mess with the rest!!
This layout is perfect. It looks like a lovely van. Enjoy.
I love how supremely comfortable your dog looked over your shoulder as you described the various water tanks! Great van. Have fun. Cheers
haha, yes Sky knows how to make herself comfy! a.t.b. Vee
wow this is perfect but its right hand drive but wow simple and very nice.. i dont know what to say its very nice.

thanks Paul and yes the gas tank is so practical and saves space in the van too. a.t.b. Vee
Lovely van ! You've ticked all the right boxes I reckon... You can buy a car charger for your laptop on Amazon ... As you say, an inverter is a bit of a waste, ramping up the voltage only to ramp it down again via the laptop charger. Wow!! Your new van is sooo beautiful, I am most jealous! Fantastic!

I think you should get one too.. go for it! a.t.b vee
I must say you are starting off with a most enthusiastic and wonderful attitude. I wish you all the luck and God's blessings in your journeys. ciao.
thank you and I am a very lucky person to have such a van! a.t.b. Vee
Fantatastic description of items. Seen many in many years and yours was a great help
This is one of the better van videos on RUclips, nicely produced. I'm in the States (from England) and also dream of traveling the country in a van, or maybe a small camper behind my Toyota FJ. outofeden ( Bushcraft & Survival ) hi there! I'm so super lucky to have this van and will use its potential to the full! I'll be filming as much of my adventures as possible to share with you. Hey we can do a road trip if you head over here! Best wishes Vee
Wildsoul Vee That would be so freaking fun !

Fantastic van! All the bases covered by the looks of it. Enjoy it!
Thanks and yes I really do think that nothing was left out which should have been included in the end design. Super excited! a.t.b. vee
This van conversion is just amazing!!!!! Enjoy your journey!
Absolutely fantastic
Paul
Congrats, Vee. I've absolutely loved my little Vanagon camper since I got it a few years back. Van life entails a wonderful learning curve. Looking forward to your adventures.
Thanks Allen and yes I love learning new things so will look forward to getting to know camper life. :-) a.t.b. Vee
Wow very well done, that is most certainly a very sorted home on wheels! All the adventures begin!
What a super van, you must be well chuffed with that.
Thought the vehicle would be a WildSoul V-W.
Nice setup Vee.
How exciting for you and your wee dog.
The world is your oyster!
Xx
23Seana haha I knew I should have bought a VW ! Atb WV!
Wow, nice! you and Sky will have many great adventures exploring your wonderful country in that magnificent classB. Your video was oddly charming and even inspiring a bit so good on ya!

Very impressive use of the space and the function of the layout seems perfectly suited for all your needs. Thanks for posting - terrific tour. Best of luck in the coming years enjoying the outdoors.
thanks very much and will be posting some of my adventures here soon :-) a.t.b. Vee
I am very lucky to have some a fantastic van and will be out and about in it loads in the coming months and years. a.t.b. Vee
Super efficient and real cozy. Working or kicking back is going to come easy to you!
Good luck, happy trails!
Now that is some good luxury camping! I loved the drone footage and music at the beginning.
+Reallybigmonkey1 hi there! Great to hear from you and yes cant pretend my van is 'roughing it' ! Still want to be out doing my tarp and bivi camping too . So not gone totally soft! Hope all well with you . Best wishes Vee
i know I'm kinda off topic but does anybody know of a good site to watch newly released series online?
@Cade Jasiah lately I have been using Flixportal. You can find it on google =)
@Brendan Zaiden Thank you, I went there and it seems to work :) I appreciate it !
@Cade Jasiah you are welcome =)
Some serious van-envy here! too~ you are going to have blasts. . dream come true~~happy voyage~
Cracking van Vee 👍 if you get rattles just turn the stereo up, that's what I do 😂 Happy travelling

That is fabulous!
I look forward to seeing your adventures in it.
Congratulations on your new acquisition! It looks amazing! I'm sure you'll be creating awesome memories with it in no time (which I hope you'll share with us every once in a while. 😊)
Absolutely love everything about your van. A great conversion. Thanks for sharing
Great van conversion. Probably one of the best I have seen so far! Awesome. Lots of storage too.
thanks Linda, re storage, I wanted an enclosed area where I could put all my camping, bushcraft gear which I didnt want in the actual living bit. it works really well I think a.t.b. Vee
The only flaw I can find is the steering wheel is on the wrong side ; ) . Cheers from Chicago! Awesome vehicle!
Brian Simons the steering wheel is on the right side LOL...
Would get rid of the two chairs in the back. Would give a lot more space unless you're a soccer mom.

Brian Simons I told her that after the UK tour she must ship it here and tour the US for 5 years. Greetings from Rockford (near Chicago)
Brian Simons Nothing wrong with that, it depends on where the car was made as well as the country it is in. 1/3 of the countries in the world, like mine, drive on the left side of the road.
It's quite similar to my Hymer Aktiv but you seem to have much more storage. I'm setting out in the spring. I'm from Chicago, too! Safe travels!
Have a great trip in the Hymer and seeing the Spring awaken will be glorious! atb Vee
Very very nice, looking forward to seeing you out with the van, I am ever so slightly green.
Fantastic conversion V, looks really good and you have a really nice finish. Look forward to some more videos.
What a delightful lady. Great job on the van. I have to agree with a previous poster, the nicest I've seen on RUclips. Well done and best regards. :)
Nicely done video... and a nicely done camping van. Kudos to all who contributed.
Practical, efficient and well built! Very nice indeed. Can't wait for you to hit the open road.
Thanks John and I cant wait either! a.t.b. vee

thanks Steven! a.t.b. Vee
You are such an inspiration! The bathroom is brilliant. I'm so glad for you!
OMG!! this is my dream! you go girl!! the stove is the best. its all so perfect. i was going to ask about the mileage but you said it uses LPG. we dont have that option in the US. thanks so much for sharing.
More vids will rolll out now but would be nice if the skies were not so rainy ! a.t.b. vee
So fantastically wonderful congrats on getting it just the way you want. Keep dreaming who knows what else may come
Thanks Debora! It is totally perfect ( in my eyes!) well my dream is now to just get out there more and soak up all that the wilder places have to offer! a.t.b vee
bring that over to Australia ,and tour around here. excellent job and I can understand your eagerness to get out and about , well done can't wait to more adventures.
now that would be cool ( but quite journey ) to visit Australia in it! lol! a,t.b Vee
Well done.
thanks Joe, ill check out the facebook groups as you say it would be handy . it is a dream indeed! a.t.b. Vee
Very nice Vee. No more cold Sky. I know that she will love it for sure. I'm betting those cold over nights have been hard on her.
Fantastic video! As always, you are literally living my dream! Such an inspiration.
seems very well thought out vee.
Hi Paul, good tips re the chocks and have the mud mats already but I know that the 2wd vans are pants in the mud so will avoid softish ground or indeed even wet grass ( though I have swopped out the tyres for winter season ones as I researched them and seemed slightly better red grip). oh the VW T4, great van iconic really. bet you have good adventures in that! a.t.b. vee
what was the cost of the van and to convert it, they have done a great job.
i really want to know this too!!!
me too?
Very nice conversion 👍😉👍
