Stagnating is right. Nick gas was so bad towards the end of its run that literally all remember from the block was rocket power being aired. Nothing else...
2:44 I feel you Erick, I never watched Nick Gas Either, I only watched Noggin, and Nick Jr, CN and a little Disney Channel. And Boomerang VOD. When I used to have cable.
Nick Games on Pluto tv was replaced with “No Parents Allowed” and it actually airs all the same shows! It even still uses some of the Nick Games bumpers!
say “nick gas” faster and faster and shout it outside. If you do, you will be greeted with magic from a group ranging from four-twenty large men performing it on you.
A pretty good history on Nick gas I was pretty surprised that Rocket Power, Hey Arnold as well as SpongeBob SquarePants or on that particular Channel back then that is pretty interesting I never know too much about Nick gas but the history about it is pretty interesting and Nick games on Pluto TV and discontinuing it in 2020 that is quite disappointing that I never noticed because after the greatness in early 2020 such as the Sonic the Hedgehog movie and even my 14th birthday the covid-19 pandemic has started. Overall Nick gas is a pretty interesting channel from the 90s and 2000s.
I had wrote down some facts in the Discord (which y'all should join). I'll put them here in the comments in case anyone is curious! 1. The last show aired on NickGas was Figure it Out and the first show aired on The N channel was Instant Star. 2. For most companies, the channel was removed on December 31, 2007 but due to a glitch it remained on Dish Network until April 23, 2009. (Iirc) the channel ran on the same 24 hour loop for almost a year and a half (so all the same shows and “commercials”) 3. Even though NickGames got taken off in 2020 some NickGas shows do still air on some of their kids channels from time to time (the channel names change sometimes but currently it’s called No Parents Allowed). Usually the ones they air are Legends of the Hidden Temple and Guts. They also air Figure it Out but the one from the 2010s not the one from the 90s. Also one of the other channels also airs Double Dare but the new one.
I heard Dave Aizer as the baseball commenter for the Miami marlins and if he wished me to have a reboot of Nick Gas and would it be possible to have Nick Gas back on television as a channel 24-7 on DirecTV, Roku, Hulu, Tubi, Twitch, and other devices as well as Motorola TV.
To go in depth with your comment, with the demise of Nick GaS, both Noggin and The N would become their own separate 24/7 channels as opposed to originally sharing the same channel. However, Dish Network retained an automated loop of Nick GaS on the air as it did not have an extra slot to offer the new 24/7 The N channel. Since The N was still limited to a nighttime block, Dish Network was able to simply import The N's new block of programming onto Noggin each night. On April 23, 2009, Dish announced it would remove Nick GaS and replace it with the Pacific feed of Cartoon Network the following day, and it ended at 3:30 a.m. ET after an episode of Legends of the Hidden Temple before switching to the Pacific feed of Adult Swim in progress. Both Noggin and The N finally acquired their own 24/7 Dish channels weeks later on May 6, 2009, just in time for the announced rebranding of both networks into both the Nick Jr. Channel and TeenNick respectively, that took place on September 28, 2009, at 6:00 a.m. local time.
I would love to see you make: The History of ABC Kids The History of NBC Kids The History of Animation Domination The History of Adult Swim The History of Comedy Central The History of Disney XD The History of CBS Kidshow The History of Snick The History of Nicktoons The History of Soapnet The Many Faces of Freeform.

@@isaacrhodes123 Nick GaS was for game shows, not preschooler shows.

It should be worth pointing out that the channel continued its schedule on Dish after its initial closure until 2009.
I never knew Hey Arnold and other Nicktoons aired on Nick GAS.
Nick Gas still existed on Dish Network past December 30, 2007 until April 23, 2009 where it was replaced with the West Coast Feed for Cartoon Network.
I remember watching it growing up somewhere between channel 175-180, can’t remember exactly.
It Was on Channel 177.

I heard how it lasted until 2009 on Dish Network because of difficulties switching over.
