- For this year’s Chuseok holiday, we shook things up and took a trip with Kyuho’s parents to Da Nang, Vietnam :) We wanted to enjoy a relaxing holiday together swimming at the beach, enjoying beautiful scenery, and eating food that OTHER people prepared for us-as Kyuho’s mom always does a ton of cooking during the holidays, so it was so nice to see her be able to kick back for a change :)

Dang, are u guys uber rich? U guys reserved the whole beach to yourself :-) Looks like early Sept is best time to go to Da Nang for people without school age children. The summer crowd has gone back home so you don't have the crowd but the weather and water are still plenty warm. I lived in VN for 10 yrs and I miss it a lot. Look forward to your upcoming videos about VN.

@James Wisrik I'm korean and I don't have religion also but you don't have to be rude about other people's beliefs. I personally find the Philippines a great country, especially its people. I wouldn't get involved in their religious beliefs but I do respect them because they do the same for me.

yes ! I stayed there once, it was amazing. Vietnam has the best hotel stays and service in my opinion, the foods and coffee are amazing.It's probably my number 1 country when it comes to tropical vacations.

The beach is really so amazing and clear! Here in Vancouver you can't even walk to the water without at least hiking through a TON of debris. Beautiful! LOL @ 11:40 though haha! What an experience!

Going to Vietnam can be pretty controversialllll but i think overall, it’s a good place to visit and experience their culture there :) just be careful! and in advance, be readyyy for the weather ahhhh

My husband was in the army in vietnam. Your resort is many worlds away from the images in his sad stories. Its wonderful to see the country looking so prosperous. Im much relieved for the people.

Hey Sarah & Kyuho, earlier this year I visited Vietnam for the first time also. Such a wonderful country....& the food WOW!! Looking forward to your 'Pho' experience vlog - there's nothing like the eating it in it's country of origin! I could totally relate to you taking the taxi to the convenience store (we did the same after enduring the first day of that crazy heat!). I had to giggle at your reaction to the thunder too - I would have seriously shat my pants!! Scary stuff. Loved the vlog - thanks for sharing :)

I'm visiting VN mid March of next year. Saigon first to see my dad and then Danang for a week and back to Saigon before flying back to the states. Planning early retirement in Danang in about 5 years so this will be an opportunity for me to see if it's what I want. Very nice resort you stayed at!

Thanh Đỗ I had some Vietnamese friends while in university and they were some of the nicest people I knew. Unfortunately, after we graduated we all took jobs in different parts of the US and lost contact with each other. Miss those girls. They were great! ❤️

Da nang is amazing! We miss the seafood there. We recommend to check out Lotte Mart to pick up some souvenirs. It was always packed with koreans picking up boxes of Vietnamese snacks 😋

한달전쯤 첫 베트남 여행으로 호치민에 갔다왔는데 다낭은 관광지보단 휴양지 느낌이 강하네요 다음 베트남 여행으로 다낭을 생각하고 있는중이라 흥미롭게 봤습니다. 호치민은 3박4일 정도로 계획해도 충분히 즐길수 있고 꾸찌터널과 메콩강 투어 추천드립니다.
