As a gun nut, i can agree this is acting quite like bullets. Seeing how the projectiles mushroom out is pretty perfectly how bullets act against resistance. Fun not so fun fact, when kennedy got shot they found the bullet fully intact, because people are quite squishy.
very nice impact heat. I think the formulas still need improvement. I plan to make a built-in “planet asteroids” scene to better simulate the collisions with heat generation

Next you should make universe. heres a step by step guide to make universe that is from my testing: 1: create an empty planet simulation 2: on cosmos tab turn cde heat and node gravity on 3: set the max velocity to some high number 4: set the node_gravity_pow to 3(or something close) 5: set the node_gravity_mul to 6 6: set the cde_heat_mul to 3 7: set the stones cdist (in material setting) to 1.4 (this will make the supernovas more powerful) 8: set the stones max_stuck to 0 9: Leave the Planet setting ALONE 9: start by making a your chosen size stone ball and heat it up until it melts (note if you make lava really hot, you would need to wait longer for it to explode) 10: if the star you made explodes when its not colder than 1000 degrees, spam the left click with move tool in order to delete any kinetic energy that we dont want 11: if the star is white and doesnt explode immeadiatly that means you succeded 12: Now just wait until the star reaches 600 dergrees from cooling down (if that takes too long just cool it down manualy) 13: KABOOM 14: wait until everything cools down (or speed it up by manualy cooling down the material) Thats it reply if it doesnt work. Explonation: 1: when you made that star since cde_heat isnt enough to keep it hot so it cools down 2: once it reaches 600 dergrees it immeadiatly starts to form stone and since stone is less dense than lava it creates an explosion or a supernova 3: due to the pressure created in the supernova the stone melts back into white hot lava. 4: that hot lava clumps back into smaller stars that cool down and go supernova so the cycle starts again. note that by making the cde_heat lower it will ensure that supernovas arent too hot and the stars that form dont take too much time to go supernova again also if the star gets red that means its about to go supernova and sorry if I made some grammar mistakes, everyone makes mistakes.

I may be wrong but The water atoms are farther apart then stone atomes So the stone will slow a bullet faster then water because the stone bonds are stronger then the water bonds sense you can move your hand in water but not stone So the bullet will still slow down just at a slower seed then with stone
how cool would it be if there was something that could pick up sound waves in sst? imagine being able to hear the sound of the bullets hitting the water
Cool video, do you know how to disable particles completely freezing after a while? (they still interact with stuff, but they just suspend in mid air...)
well... now with both magnets and gravity you can make a planet with a multen metal core that spins using the magnets... maybe a ring of magents and another around it of oppisite forces...
5:54 Its basically a bullet. For it to be a tank shell, the middle would have to have the explosive mixture or powder. A bullet is a solid piece of metal

Simulate a hollow-point bullet by creating a cavity in the nose of the projectile that allows it to expand out.

now we need a litteral rail gun

Also as my actual response you should find a way to make craters cause right now they just sorta make a hole
@@AdrianneDickenson craters are good idea, thanks!
You should make it free
_Oh no,_ we'll get a _whole video_ dedicated to _firing railguns at planets?_

Just load the game up at this point 🙏🙏🙏
Put a gun inside a planet and defend it from an incoming asteroid.
jes!!!
"time for rapid fire!!" proceeds to scatter shot instead of rapid fire
It's amazing seeing fracturing and shattering and ballistics in a falling sand game. It's so nice. I hope tis game just keeps getting more advanced
One of the best videos for this so far! So satisfying to watch.
Actually giving credit to the guy you took inspiration from is a gigachad move
heat up water below the surface and turn it into steam, then create small cracks and watch as hot springs and geysers form!
Ah yes, the railgun without rails and containing a single anti-magnet (?)
Coilgun
I'd want to see you design war ships using space simulation toolkit.
it's interesting to see the stone buckle in as the dirt hits it at 6:15, shows how even stone bends at times
Make the entire solar system in the next video
Angle the armor
13:10 Yes, the water slowed it down. You see it rip through the rock, and after the water causes it to completely stop you disregard it?

I want to buy this game because of you lol.
Why don''t you try to make a planet orbiting a sun? Sounds like a fun idea.
Hes evolving to fast
Now build a partical exelerator and launch tini chunks of metal into each other
What if for the core of the planet it’s just. Bomb that you keep rebuilding to heat it up

HANZ GET THE NEW WUNDERWAFFE
Try making a fusion reactor using magnets. PLEASE.
If you visit the defense idea again it would be interesting to see how pressurized armor would do against the bullets
if you angle the armor it gives it greater protection
I wonder if you put some kind of high pressure gas or liquid if you could make a kind of explosive artillery
Make a human; thin layer of dirt (skin) thin layer of water(blood) rock, (bone)

Can you do more protoplanetary disk action in SST?
You should try sloped armour
