CARTUBI - Highspeed 5 Convertion and Refitting

The Highspeed 5 ferry is a ro-pax catamaran, with the capacity to carry 1160 passengers and 96 and is known for its high speed, 40 knots maximum speed, and impressive docking maneuvers.
After a terrible fire developed on board in 2015, the ship was taken to CARTUBI shipyards for refitting work. The challenge was complex: complete refitting of aluminum superstructures decks and piping systems renewal.
After more than 5 months between design and construction of the structures and more than 60 people involved, CARTUBI delivered the ship to the shipowner ready to take service under the new name of Highspeed 7.
Il traghetto Highspeed 5 è un catamarano ro-pax, con la capacità di trasporto di 1160 passeggeri e 96 ed è conosciuto per la sua alta velocità, 40 nodi di velocità massima, e per la sua impressionante capacità di manovra di attracco.
Dopo un terribile incendio sviluppatosi a bordo nel 2015, è stato portato nei cantieri di CARTUBI per i lavori di refitting. La sfida è stata complessa: refitting completo delle sovrastrutture in alluminio, rinnovamento degli impalcati e dei sistemi di tubazioni.
Dopo oltre 5 mesi tra progettazione e costruzione delle strutture e oltre 60 persone coinvolte, CARTUBI ha consegnato all'armatore la nave pronta per prendere servizio col nuovo nome di Highspeed 7.
