The Only reason why I know about the Legend of the Megalodon is from the Game "Sea of Thieves" since the Game now has an area of Open Sea where the Meg will Spawn in with Different Colors denoting Different Levels of Difficulty and Loot. As Someone who Enjoys Watching Playthroughs of Various Games, the Meg Fights are the most Exciting as the Meg's will try to Bite Holes in the sides of your Ship while you have to try and land Hits with your Cannons to Kill it. Once it's dead, you can Swim out and Deal with the 2-3 "Baby Meg" (Do-Do-Do Do-Do Do) and collect the Loot that they Drop as well, which usually is Shark Meat that you can Cook in the Ship's Galley. Same with the Meg, You can Collect Meg Meat that you can Cook in the Ship's Galley from the Meg Itself as it's Body slowly Despawns into Nothingness and the Loot from Killing it Spawns in. The Loot usually has Treasure Chests, Gemstones, Chalice's, and Mystical Skulls that can be Traded in for Gold (Basic In-game Currency). And with that Gold, you can buy More Quests or Decorations/Skins for your Ship from the Ship Itself, the Sails all the way to the Figurehead, Cannons Helm and Capstan (The Wheel for pulling the Anchor Up and Letting it Down).
