Fun fact: Despite their Russian name, the majority of Russian tortoises aren't even native to Russia, only to the Caspian coast of the Russian Caucasus. They're found from Kazakhstan down to the Pakistani coast. The reason they're called Russian is because the majority of these countries in their natural range (more specifically Turkmenistan, Tajikistan, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Azerbaijan, and Kyrgyzstan) were all once a part of the Russian Empire.

That first enclosure is mine 😊 thanks for the high rating I’ve put so many hours of research into making sure they have good conditions and my dad made the Vivariums for us so they would fit in with our decor. The second tortoise is an Indian star tortoise - it’s really hard not to get pyramiding in this species, even the wild ones are found with pyramids when they have supposedly perfect living conditions.

This honestly made me feel so much better about my Pacman dying. I did everything right and it was so sudden. I swear Pacmans are the hamsters of the amphibian/ reptile community, they always die in the strangest ways.
The anole terrarium is mine! And they are Green/Carolina Anoles. Since posting that, I have found 2 babies in their terrarium! (they are in a separate tank now)
Dude I had pet rats in the same room as my ball python and I had the WORST existential confusion, and I'm pretty sure my bp could smell them at all times. I only had the rats for 5 months but I was honestly afraid to take out the snake most of that time in case he got confused and I smelled like rats constantly. I have the snake still but I had to rehome the rats. Everyone's happier lol.
Hello. I was wondering the best place to get a corn snake and food for it. Please respond because I’m sure you know more about them than me. Also stay safe from a fellow Guy from North Carolina!
It's illegal to take animals from the wild. Sick and Injured wild animals legally need to be turned over to rehabilitators with permits. Sadly it is VERY common for people to take fledglings out of the wild, thinking they need help, when in reality, they don't! If you find them on the ground, simply place them in a nearby tree, & you helped! Mum and dad are there, foraging, only to return to their baby being gone. Hope this helps clear some things up. 😜
@@shira3074 it looked like it to me. Sadly most people don't know that you should always set babies back in the nest and fledglings in the tree. I myself have made this mistake long ago, but had made the choice based on the neighborhood cats. When we can get to the nest, or it's been destroyed, we can grab a replacement nest and place the baby on it in the tree. The parents WILL feed both babies, in both nests. It's fascinating, the extend the parents will go to, to care for their babies. And touching them, IS OK while we help, the parents won't reject them based on "scent" .
Those are Buttonquail and they are the size of parakeets and they’re often kept in aquariums terrariums etc. dude are small size and they are actually not allowed at all. They are the smallest species of quail kept

For the bird - Without knowing the species, I can't say with certainty, but it looked to be sub-adult. Some people, when they find abandoned/lost baby birds, know how to feed/care for them and end up doing so. Keep in mind that in the USA, this is usually illegal to do with native species unless you are a licensed wildlife rehab. On the other hand, non-native species (pigeons, starlings, house sparrows) are perfectly legal to take in/care for/keep. Also. Excuse. That hairless rat was adorable. xD Edit: Oh, and thanks for the info on pyramiding in torts. Never heard of that before! (I'm also not well versed in turtles/torts in general though.)
I hope that first enclosure is actually two enclosures. Because I think there's two different kinds of tortoises. And you can't, are very definitely should not, keep two tortoises together. Especially Russians, they don't get along well with others at all. it is gorgeous whatever it is.
Why is it always that I post a picture of my snakes or my enclosure pretty much around exactly the time you do a review video, but never in 15 episodes have you picked one of my content... I'm giving up # you... Still enjoy your videos
Pine is dangerous to most exotics if not all. With rodents it can ONLY be used if it’s kiln dried shavings but honestly I just stay away from it completely

This is unrelated but should you turn off the heat mat for a leopard gecko at night
No. They are the most active at dusk and night, they need the energy from the heat.
