As for me personally, I'll be skipping this event on PS4 due to the shadow glitches. When a second player joins my world I can see their shadows on my screen. Heck the glitch when you are shooting tranqs and suddenly the crossbow doesn't reload although you have ammo or it does the reload animation and does it again in a endless cycle until you swap to another weapon. Or the weird new glitch where when you are shooting a dino and then the same dino decides to clip into a biome wall or something and you can still shoot it. But if you check with a magnifying glass. It is taking damage with every shot but not longer torpor. I loved losing 300 tranq darts on a giga that I couldn't tame because of the animal collision with is not my fault. Yet you are probably aware of it and just decided to patch it that way as a anti-cheat measure or something.

What is tether distance?
You have to stay a certain distance away from the host of the server. It is super small so you have to basicly hug them the entire game.

Well it's something wrong on your end I've played ark for awhile the only real lag I've experienced is opening inventory lag and I don't mind it
