How hair is gorgeous!!! This looks like my baby's exact hair texture only your baby's hair is darker. I'm saving this video and trying this on my biracial toddler. Been looking for easy and cute styles that are quick and will look good with his hair texture. It sometimes just wants to do everyone ask at once being mixed recruited. Love it! My son hair is very similar. When I do this style it’s normally smaller and without the rubber bands. I def will try doing it this size. 😅

Your hairstyles have saved me because I'm so use to do braids on girls lol not on boys and their easy because I have arthritis on my hands and fingers this will be my next design thank you so much
I’m so happy to hear that our styles are helpful for you and that you like them! I had tendinitis/“mommy’s thumb” for two years after I had Kham and it was so hard to style his hair so I know how much of a life saver the simpler styles like this can be! Sometimes it’s easier with little girl cause you can throw it up in a ponytail or two puffs and call it a day lol we gotta actually do stuff for the boys.. but you’re so welcome and hope this one turns out great! 💙

I'm using two brushes:
The Safety 1st Easy Grip Brush and Evovle Flow-Thru Detangler Brush.
Both of these are linked in the description box and both work sooooo well with this type of hair so it should be perfect for your little one 💙

Did you wash he hair first
Yes, I either wash his hair the day I do the style or a day or two before and I prep the hair for the style.
My son’s hairs is similar just not as thick. He has 3 different curl patterns.
Are you finding it difficult to find the right styes for him that don't have certain parts of his hair super long and straight and other curled up and shrunk? Lol cause that's the daily struggle lately 😩

I do the LCO method to get product in his hair before styling; so I wet it with a little water in a spray bottle (if not being done right after a wash) and then I add the moisturizer (of whatever creme you decide to use as your "C" in the LCO process) and I brush/comb through (link to my new favourite and absolutely amazing brush can be found in our most recent video on the channel) then I use our "O" which is our Extra Virgin Olive Oil (I also like to use olive oil mixed with Jamaican black castor oil and peppermint oil) and I brush/comb through again and then I braid.

@ i do it on low or no heat. Takes longer but no damage
@@jasminkelley934 yesss! That’s how I started using the blow dryer with him, cool blow drying but then as time went on I’m adding low heat cause I just want to finish quicker 😩😂

He's watching Number Blocks (it's on Netflix, but you can find episodes too on RUclips I believe). He absolutely loves that show... and it's so good for helping them with addition, subtraction, multiplication, everything! Totally recommend it 💙

Unfortunately I don't have any diagrams for the parting I do, it's all basically in my head and I just make it come to life as I work 😩
