I’ve owned three BMW GS Adventures. And I’m glad I’ve got a Norden now. They’re too tall and heavy.

Are you saying you ride the rear brake and keep the throttle on at the same time going through the corners for stability?

    • @huskydrive

Not the whole time. Just for correction:)

I see you are in the Black Forest region right? I‘m from Switzerland and I have a Norden901 too, maybe we could ride a bit together one day?

I don’t think your cornering advice is very good for other riders. Did you learn the technique of braking to control acceleration and maintaining throttle whilst braking yourself? Just curious.

    • @huskydrive

not while accelerating. while having the same speed to correct and keep the bike steady. Otherwise you will put too much tension on your drivetrain. Basicly the same as breaking with your left foot in a car.
advise/technique was given by a advanced driving instructor.

Got you, you mean in a situation that you are too fast it’s better to use the back brake to pull the bike in tighter and not shut the throttle and upset the bike.
Thought you were using the back brake as a cornering technique.
Enjoy the Norden, waiting for mine to have missing parts fitted before I collect.
