the reason Ivy is being picked over Opera in these matches is because she counters a lot of the team comps being picked in these matches without any of Ivy’s counters being picked too, these teams are asking to get destroyed by her because people are still traumatised by Opera. She counters (practically) every balloon harasser apart from Antiquarian but she does counter her in chase to counteract that (as in when Ivy gets close, she can scare so she can’t hit back with her flute). Seer is also picked in 2/3 of these matches, who is a lot weaker against Ivy. If these people want to counter her or prevent an Ivy pick, they need to pick Psychologist, Barmaid or (surprisingly) Doctor (Doctor is a VERY risky pick). Arguably puppeteer is a big counter for her too due to the Louis shield making him much harder to snowball. I think once the proper Ivy counters are figured out, I think we’ll see more of an equal Ivy/Opera pick rate or maybe other hunters getting picked.

Helena can actually see, she isn’t fully blind. While she uses her cane to navigate, her eyes have function. So assuming this, Helena can probably still see all the hunters despite it.

Which is actually WILD that this is happening because MAYBE this will give Ivy the chance to have a spot amongst the top 3 hunter alongside Bane and Opera, and i do agree that the meta we are in rn is a more "Have a good individual kite so you can buy time for your team" type of meta.
I think a good counter for ivy rn is little girl Was playing her against ivy and i said "damn they REALLY nerfed ivy we've been kiting her for so long" cause iwas leeched onto the kiter
Maybe enchantress will be played more since the rise of Ivy is coming and enchantress can charge up stuns when the hunter is near and can use her stuns without looking at her so she can do pretty good against her

it just clicked to me if faro lady has adjustments (especially to her rescuing) she may be good against ivy? since she can take decoding from machines their teammate is getting kicked off of. i hope on the test server someone tests out the yith and faro lady combo since they’re both invisible

So some people would ban them to avoid a hard time but usually good survivors will believe in their skill and have a great team comp so they rather ban a S tier hunter like Sangria or Ivy.

Yeaahh totally. Insolence actually rose in the meta recently before it got buffed, but then they buffed it so that it still recharges after the half. Now it has some solid end game support too. Yith is Ivy's ghost form that can scare survivors and place tablets that disrupt cipher decoding

Not really Ideal but it can work because if I'm not mistaken perfume doesn't reset the spook so if your at 99% and use perfume after you go back it will still 99%
@@loongman764 Yes, but for example, if she spooks you at anything under 90% you can simply perfume, and you’ll go back. Also she counters Ivy’s teleport with her perfume. It’s risky, but it works. Also she can pull distance which is good.
i’m telling you guys once NA/EU high tiers get a handle on Ivy she is going to be more annoying than opera singer and dream witch in her prime. She is a guaranteed 4K because of her yith there’s no such thing as hiding or rotating with her. i have yet to win a single match against ivy she counters EVERYONE

Norton and Antiquarian are the only harassers that can "kind of" work against her. Everyone else is too hard to use. Norton is likely the best harasser against her since he can throw magnets without looking directly at her.

This is... the ivy i always met on high tier rank in asia server. Most high tier Asia player i met will mostly ban IVY rather then BANE or WAX ARTIST.
