Awesome reviews as always. But I have to thank you for saying “cats pajama’s” I say it all the time and my younger friends think I’m crazy. Haha. This made my day. It’s the little wins.
I am 5 foot 6 and i can't touch the floorboards. My teryx is 82inch tal with kift and 30s. The ridge is just weird. They bank on people just buying it for the 4 cylinder engine
It's up there. The difference between this and the base model is like 5 grand in Canada. Nobody telling you to buy this model, but if you want one with all the options, there it is. If buying new isn't your best option, you can always find a better price in the used market.
Jack your machine up with tires just off the ground and you can turn the shock adjuster by hand if it’s not full of dirt that is.if not by hand will be a lot easier with the tool
I checked out the Ridge cool machine but when I sat in the driver's seat it felt like the pedals were right below my knees and not forward like other machines, and the seat was so high I could hardly reach them
The cab on the Ridge XR does not have a fully sealed cab and Kawasaki needs to correct that. At the 17:31 mark when the camera is panning to Luke inside the cab you can see a gap just above his head in the top corner of the b pillar. The gap isn’t a small crack either, it’s a sizable gap. During the test drive you can see the top corner of the door flex in and out a lot. 32k is a crazy amount to spend on a side by side with flimsy azz doors. It’s not this particular Ridge XR either. I’ve watched 10/15 reviews and they’re all like that. The Xpedition has the same issue in the same exact spot. If this was an actual vehicle built by an automobile manufacturer there would be a recall whether it be voluntary or a NHTSA initiated recall..lol If enough consumer complaints go into Kawasaki and Polaris about the door gap issue they will fix it. Nah, Kawasaki will just wait until the next model year comes out and say they made some significant improvements over the last model and jack the price up $400. People are gonna quit buying these machines for 35k/45k and go get a CF Moto for 20k/22k less.
Great video guys
Thanks so much!
I think you guys need more shots of flying down smooth dirt roads, and then slow mo’s of the same shots.

LOL!! That's awesome. I was wondering anyone would comment about that!
@@dirttraxtv oh yeah. I freakin died laughing then sent them the video and said hey look I’m not crazy.
When will people understand that if we stop buying these new units for the price of a new car these dealers and manufacturers will lower the price.
The Kawa Ridge is 81+” tall and it’s slightly too tall to fit into my extended top cargo trailer…Kawa goofed.😢

They've gotten ridiculous with these prices, you'll talking about 15 to 20k for a 570, wow!! no thanks.

Yes 10 years ago I bought a new ranger for less money but new machine are way more advanced
Best deals are CFMOTO hands down

Doubtful you can turn the collar by hand, but relieving compression of the shock will make adjustments easier with the tool.
@@dirttraxtv I can on my ranger but not sure about the sportsman.

Any name brand under 10k is awesome unfortunately.
I paid for my 850 touring 9000 bucks a few years ago, what happened with offering a normal price instead of overpaying
Prices will keep people away from buying new generations to be buying these things.
How does it compare to a Cfmoto?
which model?
@@dirttraxtv any of them. Their 1000 is still way cheaper…..
Prices aren’t actually high, it’s inflation that has made your dollar have less buying power. Thanks government.
$15k??? for a 570 ? awe hell naw im buying a used 800, f-that !
Around 18 in Canada.
