oi querida ! tudo bom ?? eu traduzo pra voce. a corda do meio, a branca, e de 9mm, e a azul ela ta usando uma de 5mm. ela disse que voce tem q levar em consideracao que quanto mais grossa a corda que voce usa pra enrolar, mais rapido a sua cesta vai ficar pronta !
How much of the piping cord do you use for this basket?
It will depend on the weight of cord you use and how big you want your finished basket. If you work from the roll you don’t need to cut it until you finish.
I loved yoru video as it was what I was after to do at home. Now I have a substitute which is firm that I can use as a filler thats not a problem, I will be using 3mm braided as that is what I think will work for this, however I am not sure what lengths you are using or what kind of lengths I should be cutting?.......please help.
Thank you! Well you actually don’t need to measure. You just keep cutting pieces and leave your filler cord on a roll. I cut handfuls at a time.

@@ishtar990 3/8 inch, but you can use a thick rope or bungee cord. Try a hardware store!
how many meters of the macrame cord and the filler did you use for this project? i'm trying to buy cords in advance and want to know how many meters to buy :)
A roll of each is enough for several smaller baskets
