Is this really how tourists rent cars there? I thought there are stalls in airports or places where people legitimately borrow vehicles. I never knew they could just ask anyone and go to people's houses. Won't that be a bit dangerous and suspicious?
If you have limited English skills sometimes you will be misunderstood. It's so difficult to grasp for the right words to say and you would use some words inappropriately. I don't think they're rude, they're just trying to figure things out since they also have limited resources. English is the lingua franca when you travel. Hence, we all need to learn it to make our travel stress-free and convenient. I do hope more Korean celebrities can speak English effectively so that they can easily reach out to their fans around the world. Even if you're not fluent but can communicate effectively then you're good.
