So Mike Shinoda IS the producer. He ran this entire album passed Jay Z, Jay helped him get the song list down from like 25 to 17 songs.
Red to Black is a boppppp. First time I heard it I thought it was Chester singin on it. Slip out the Back is another fantastic song, produced by Mr. HAAHHHHHNNN

Back story to the album is that Mike Shinoda wanted to go back to his hip-hop roots and at the time he didn't think he could make real hip-hop in Linkin Park because they were still in their early days really of 2 albums and a collab album with Jay-Z.
He called it Fort Minor because he wanted people to focus on the music he made rather that focus on him as a person and have people say "hey it's the dude from Linkin Park" he asked a few friends to ft on some of the songs like the two guys here from the group styles from beyond which were childhood friends of Mike and Holly Brook AKA Skylar Gray. The album is called rising tied, have listen even if not to make a video its worth a listen.
He made another album that went along side it called we major which rap music over old school rock songs whit many ft's
Then there Mike's Post Traumatic album in which he moves more to a pop and hip-hop music style.
Mike for is the best musician alive.
Not because he's the best at what he does but because he can do so much from hard rock, rap, pop and electronic.
He produces all his stuff from Linkin Park to fort minor and hell knows how many instruments.

Since the beginning I wanted to see your face when you would have discovered that Fort Minor is Mike Shinoda. All his songs are really good. I suggest every song from Post Traumatic EP.

Fort Minor is hip-hop side-project by Mike. Before Linkin Park, Mike used to create hip-hop beats for his friends, used to create joke hip-hop songs with the band's original singer, Mark Wakefield. Then eventually him and Mark began writing hip-hop songs together then added rock to the mix by recruiting Brad Delson and the rest of the guys. Before the band was signed, Mike would still write hip-hop songs then when they started touring, he didn't really have time to write straight hip-hop music anymore as they're just translation into an traditional LP song. Then when LP took a break from touring and got into a legal battle with their label, Mike took the opportunity to rediscover his hip-hop roots. And Fort Minor is actually just Mike's alias as a solo-artist.

    Those percentages are important.
Can't make it without luck, that's why you gotta keep taking shots, but honing your talent is twice as important, and between all that you need the determination to make it through.
But don't forget to love what you're doing.
And even with all that, you're only half done. The rest is putting in the work.
