Hahaha, I didn't know they made legos and trousers?! This was such a fun reaction video, Touchy!
⠀⠀13:48 - That painting you liked, "Karl XII:s likfärd" ("The Funeral Procession of Charles XII") from 1878, is one of the most well-known pieces of art in Sweden. It depicts how Carolus Rex is brought back to Sweden from Norway by the Carolean soldiers. The Swedish version of the Sabaton song Long Live the King is actually called "Konungens likfärd" ("The Funeral Procession of the King") and you'll learn a little more about its significance in the Sabaton History episode about Long Live the King...
    ⠀⠀37:09 - Yep, you're correct; that's Thobbe Englund alright!
And, as a side note: Sweden is one of the least religious countries in the Western world and, if I'm not mistaken, surpassed only by Liechtenstein (a microstate with a population of less than ~40k people) and one of the Baltic countries (I don't remember which one, but the most populated of the Baltic states is Lithuania, with its ~1,9 million people) - tiny countries compared to Sweden. So when you see these large Swedish crowds screaming The Lords Prayer, even though religion is kind of a foreign koncept - that's how you know it's a good piece of music.

Kings and Generals have done a great and detailed documentary on several battles the Caroleans fought. They would fight almost always outnumbered at least 2:1 but sometimes even worse odds the final part of the Battle of Poltava 10:1. Still they would usually win most battles but sometimes the numbers just made it impossible. During The Great Northern war Sweden would fight Denmark-Norway, Russia, Poland-Lithuainian commonwealth and Saxony. After the tide of war turned Prussia and Hannover (ruled by Great Britain) would also join the coalition against Sweden.

      Yes correct.
The kings and generals documentary on the great northern war is one great piece of work with so much detail it’s amazing definitely recommend checking it out if you got the time Touchy. At a battle outside Warsaw in the great northern war the Caroleans smashed a much bigger polish army you can read more here. en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Battle_of_Warsaw_(1705)

Yes, you are correct, this was before Tommy and Hannes. By the look of it, it's the members that played at woodstock poland 2012.
So it's Thorbjörn "Thobbe" Englund (you were close) on left side guitar, and I think it's Robban Bäck on drums.

studio version of the album is recorded with the original guitarists and drummer (and keyboard player) but they left basically right after they had recorded the album and was replaced with thobbe englund and chris rörland on guitars and by robban bäck on drums. by the time sabaton was about to go into the studio to record next album after carolus rex, robban bäck had left so he has no album credits with sabaton besides the swedish empire tour in support of the carolus rex album

Oops I wrote too soon you did it nice.
May I suggest always reacting to each song in the Swedish empire album both in Swedish version (with English subtitles) and the English version like you did in this video from now on? The reason I ask this is because the Swedish versions always have a more personal point of view while the English are more a general view of something. You’ll notice huge differences if you react to both English and Swedish versions in the Swedish empire album. The songs in both versions of each song is about the same thing but completely different point of views and as such the song is very different in both versions.

Carolus Rex imo is Sabaton's best album. Still. And that's despite some of the other albums being excellent in their own right, I think this one is still the one with the highest overall quality of songs. There's not a song on it which I don't like, as opposed to other albums where there's always a few that I feel are filler.
As for the history, well some of the other Sabaton History pieces talk about other songs. But there's a reason why the Swedish way of war wasn't adopted by other armies no matter how efficient it was for a time. And that reason is also on the album.
On an entirely incidental note for computer gamers familiar with the Civilization series, the latest version includes the Swedish civilisation with it's special unit being The Carolean. Including a possible quote from this song (although I think it's actually a historical quote, used on the song as well as in the game).

They are also working on a massive special coverage for D Day as they approach it on their WW2 channel with weekly videos (which i wholeheartedly recommend to check out, although it is probably not best reaction content as it is a series of over 200 videos by now, not counting all the specials and other series on the channel). Oh ! Hannes Van Dahl didnt join Sabaton until 2013 . This is Robban Bäck . Also one of the guitarrists was changed . Tommy Johansson joined 2016 . Before that (in this clip ) it was Thobbe Englund playing the guitarr in Sabaton (together with present member Chris Rörland)

Cheers from Sweden. Remember that swedish warfare was epic at its high time Gustaf Adolf II made artillery mobile to move with infantry advancement a thing also using cavalry to move light infantry around the battlefield on the back of the rider. In this case Charles the XII or more like is father and grandfather veterans of 30 years war made a very tight and highly trained army. While bringing in faith as a pillar of disciplin remember this was back when faith was the most important thing apart from ffin and eating. The thing is Sweden wasnt very populated apart from the baltic states that joined sweden we where very poor in case of population. So every soldier had to have the grim warlike personality of enduring all even godlessness. So faith and big anual trainings werte common to drill the poor swedes into deadly vikings(American woke transaltion). The marching into war until u see the white in their eyes are exactly what swedish trooopers did. They knew accuracy of that time of weapons didnt reacy good enough kill distance until like 50 metres . So they kept marchin g then only shot once and ataacked. That same tactic the redcoats of England incorporated.
