This is how you properly chew someone out. So many times the person doing the chewing goes overboard, can’t keep it together, get actually mad and just starts insulting and humiliating.
Khabib is super stern but he is not calling him lazy or a loser, he just says if you want X you can’t be doing Z and need to do Y. And he even says that he’ll stop bothering him about it if he doesn’t want to compete. That is how it is done. That is being upfront and stern without being demeaning.

He was carrying on the legacy of his father and such a huge part of that community, the lack of his presence will truly be felt as his family has always been a pillar of MMA for the Dagestani people.. Absolutely; my parents only ever yelled screamed and beat me up. It only forges anger bitterness and trauma. I did something I wasn’t even aware was wrong one time as I was out with my best friend my uncle and his best friend. We went out to watch the 14th of July Eiffel Tower’s fireworks. As soon as he parked the car we started running cause it had already started thinking my uncle would be just behind us ( he’s 4 year older than me) running to catch up. When we looked around at the end they weren’t there. I called him for more than half an hour on his phone he wouldn’t answer. When he finally called me he was like where are you? I told him ghe street and he was like since you think you’re such a grown up we’re parked at this place you go and find your way back by yourself, like a big girl. There was no 3G/4G smartphones with maps back then, a lot of tourists were totally inebriated we had to ask the police watching out to help us find our way back and it took half an hour. I thought he was gonna yell at me humiliate me berate me but he actually talked just like Khabib, in steady but very disappointed voice. I felt absolutely terrible, I felt how egoistic I had been snd how dangerous it could have ended up. At that moment I wished he had yelled at me it feels so much less worst than disappointing a person you respect/admire. It marked me so much that as teacher now, I feel the need to mentor them to lift them up even though I’m very strict I always make it a point to always be respectful and never yell never show anything like shock or disgust so my student can trust me with every and any secret they have without fear of being judge which allowed me to save some of them, to give insensitive and help to people who couldn’t imagine going to the Biggest Schools and Colleges and they understood my rules in class; as a parent a teacher a manager you have to be just to apply the same strict standards to yourself first and to never go back on your words. If you say if you do that here what’s going to happen it HAS to happen even if you’re actually reluctant. They also have to understand that everybody has its place and if you’re in high school you fo not get your phone out I however I’m not here to study but to teach I have seniority. These little shits will think that life is fair and they can negotiate anything with everyone cause they’re tired exhausted don’t have enough willpower to stand their grounds. I always tell them I do not negotiate with terrorists you can go cry to the principal or your parents or your judge grandparents I AM THE LAW HERE. So after like a month of trying they’ll be oh it’s Miss A, no need to even try. Cause their boss won’t negotiate or take mercy on them either. That’s real life managers and boss and customers and HR are all shitty and lazy and mean that’s what life is do get prepared and toughen up. One teacher always spent her time screaming so her classroom would stop chatting loudly snd actually listen to her. I had to replace her for like 15 minutes as the principal called her. The class immediately shut the fuck up as they saw me take place right in front of them and watch them silently in the eye one by one. I asked them to get their « school life and rules books » out and read them one by one asking why this wasn’t signed by their parents why this detention hadn’t been done etc... in a dead silence. I took a few books with me told them to come get them in my classroom later as I’d calling their parents immediately to inform them.
When the teacher came back she was shocked by the silence and the students doing their homework (« cause if you don’t have anything to fo I’ll give you something right now »). Just as K closed the door behind me I hear the teacher screaming her lungs out about how they were so obedient with me and disrespectful with her. The kids tell me; the one who screams just seems crazy and they ignore them as they cause as much noise as them and it’s basically white noise just like their parents screams too.
So Khabib’s calmness but conviction right words and compliments veiled in a bit of anger at the waste are EXACTLY how you’re supposed to motivate youth. He’s a true leader

Used to like Mcgreggor.. was even rooting for him when he fought Khabib. Following the match took a bit more of an interest in Khabib- followed him on social media, started watching interviews and slowly developed respect for the man. Meanwhile..i started to lose respect for Mcgreggor. How he behaved, the things he said and the way he composed himself outside the octagon was pretty stark compared to Khabibs quiet and humble way of life.
It slowly made me realize i didnt actually like Mcgreggor the man, just Mcgreggor the Star. It was entertaining. Thats all.. And the excuses i was making for his loss to Khabib sounded lame in the end to me. Now ive done a complete 180..i support Khabib, both the Man and the fighter and would root for him IF there was a rematch. Funny how your opinion of man can change so drastically. But there it is.

I agree I am 22 and I dream of one day writing for a triple a video game company and writing novels of my own on the side , since I was 4 years old I have been writing non stop and working hard to develop as a writer to the point where I have no social life and am soley focused on learning and improving. Now I am a university student studying game design and creative writing with an RPG card game and novella published.
At times it gets hard honestly when I know that I have to write but my fingers are bruised and in pain but when I hear khabib speak I push forward and realize that if I continue to work hard and stay on my path that I will someday achieve my dreams and be successful.

When I first started he didn't used to scold me but the more he saw potential the more he started scolding me. The other teammates are like why do you stay he is breaking you he is insulting you I tell them you dont understand you don't see it he is trying to make me better but they don't understand.
