Honestly, with half life alyx coming out, I feel like there might be a possibility of a hl3. It reminds me of Opposing Force and Blue Shift, the two games where you play as characters other than gordon, that were released a few years before hl2. this is my favourite song in the Half-Life OST. I really like it because of how "industrial" it sounds (if you can call it that). And the whole composition is incredible.
The original half life has this atmosphere to it I cant explain, cant come up with any word to explain it. A good atmosphere that makes Half life unforgettable and original, make it feel better then the sequel. I can't quite come up with anything other then "Sci-fi" to explain it but I think it doesn't fully explain this feeling.
