    Slight correction at 1:07:08
I said "the most Merciful" but the translation of the end of the ayah is "the Almighty, all wise"
And this is actually a point the mufassiroon talk about, which is why did prophet Eesa AS say "the all wise", instead of "the most merciful"? This is because if Eesa AS had said "the most Merciful" then this could be a way of him making duaa for the people. However, he says "the all wise" as it is always up to Allah's wisdom and decision whether to forgive his slaves or not.

It's good that someone finally doesn't reply Saudi-Arabia but Mekka and Medina to the question about the favourite country. It's a coincidence that Mekka and Medina happen to be in the modern state of Saudi-Arabia whose political leadership is not really worthy of those cities.

How does your friend circle and environment impact your journey/relationship with the Qur'ān? How to build that environment for yourself if you don't have like minded people around you? How to know which people are good or bad for you?

      Stay away from toxic people.
And wait for the best time, and slowly find good companionship.
I stayed alone for 2 years and I left all toxic people who were taking me away from my deen or criticising it.
Now Allah granted me a huge circle or pious friends families, from where you can't even imagine.
      SubhanAllah
      All praise to him.

for me, my freinds didn't really have an impact on my hifz but I had a couple friends that were huffaz or in the process so I would say as long as they don't impact your hifz it's all good.
