Shania Twain is an award-winning Canadian country music artist. Three of her albums have been certified Diamond by the Recording Industry Association of America, and she is also the second best-selling artist in Canada (behind Celine Dion).
"From This Moment On" was the fourth country single released from Twain's multi-platinum album, "Come On Over." It was an immediate hit on the music charts and maintained a position in many of them for several weeks. It was in the Top Ten in Australia, Canada and New Zealand.
Twain wrote the song for her parents, who had suddenly died when shewas 22. In the song, she speaks of her eternal love for her parents.
Twain's original version of the song featured fellow country singer, Bryan White. They won the award for "Vocal / Instrumental Collaboration of the Year" at the 1999 Country Music Awards (CMAs).

My wife and I had our first dance to this song 23 yrs ago this May 29, 1999; since then I have survived a combat injury from OIF Iraqi Freedom and when I almost lost her in 2012 to multiple organ failure, she recovered only losing her kidneys. I took care of her doing home dialysis for 5 yrs, placing the dialysis fluid on my walker and hooking her up every night to home dialysis until 2017 when she received her deceased donor kidney transplant. She was my caregiver from 2002 to Present, picking me up off the floor after seizures and temporary paralysis, helping feed and bathe me a few times in 2002 and other times when I was having a real bad episode, and driving me since 2002, she really stepped up as an Army Wife to a Combat Wounded Disabled Veteran. Now in 2022 as we Celebrate 23 yrs together, I fondly remember when we danced and sang this song to each other at our Wedding Reception; From this Moment On, I will Love you! We have never stopped loving each other through this trial and the next, and she has continually supported me and I have her; and together with our marriage foundation built on JESUS CHRIST, we continue to be Blessed in our marriage, everyday treasuring every minute we have together as we know how precious life is and how quickly it could be taken from us, so the song From this Moment, really took on a deeper meaning and is a Celebration for every breath and every minute I am Blessed to dance and sing with my wife, FROM THIS MOMENT ON, I WILL LOVE YOU, I promise you this, and for your Love, I'd give my last breath, From this Moment on!

My parents will be married 40 years in September 17 2023 same thing my mom died 3 times in the hospital november 2021 though january she came back 3 times 140 days in the hospital and my dad worked at the hospital has a cardiologist and he and each of us family members visiting with her everyday and she is a miracle she got covid in November 2021 it almost killed her she had to learn how to walk talk write she came home April last year my parents my siblings and family member took turns seeing her thousands of people praying for her she just had her birthday on Sunday turned 63 and GOD JESUS HOLY SPIRIT ALWAYS BEEN IN OUR LIVES FOREVER MY MOM TESTIMONY IS AMAZING ONE MY PARENTS ARE VETERANS FOR BEING THE AIR FORCE 🎉❤ WE HAD A BIG CELEBRATIONS FOR 4 DAYS THIS PAST WEEKEND FRIENDS FOR 29 YEARS CAME DOWN AMAZING

I'm fat and got depressed because my ex dumped me because of that, I suffered bulimia and found myself on the hospital and suffered a lot. He was the one who accepted me for who I am. I was 15 years old when this was released. My mum had just passed away for ALS. I remember lonely summer nights in 1998. This song has been always a sad one for me. I turned that into empowerment and sang it on my channel. I am a self taught singer who thought first 30 years of her life she couldn't sing and then up until now that she can't sing anything higher. First four times I was rehearsing this I could only cry. So I'm pretty proud of myself. xoxo
