Very enjoyable, sure is nice to see the rain again. The children sure are growing fast. I hope all of you get better soon, get some elderberry syrup. Thanks for sharing.
Thanks! The kids really are growing fast. I keep thinking all the old people were right when they told us that it just goes faster and faster. Ringing more true every year.
I so enjoy the walking tours when you do them. Do you know your rainfall total since November started? I think I see a little cloudiness in the creek but really not much. Does it ever get worse? I am thinking you have been careful along the stream banks, leaving a buffer, so you probably won't get the muddy look the valley floor rivers get with lots of rain. Your ponds might be a little more cloudy this first year since reworking, but, they'll settle out and settle in. Thanks for the tour and I hope good health returns for all.
Thank you, Joani! When we get our first rains after long droughts, the creek definitely runs more brown as it gathers dust and dirt. It's running fairly clear by now. Our ponds are definitely going to be cloudy for now. I think the clay will settle fairly quickly, and we'll need to get educated on aquatic plants/trees for the pond edges to help keep the water somewhat clean. Lots to learn on that!

Praying you guys are better🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾
We are, thank you!
The deck on your yurt looks really good with the railing and balusters on it. Glad to see the pond start to fill up.
Thanks, we're really pleased with how the deck came together.
hope you feel better😀
