The Owl House is genuinely so good, representation is on point, the world building is amazing, it’s ready for kids that don’t really understand the darker concepts of trauma and mental health issues but great for adults who do, it’s all about found family and sticking together. I literally could rant abt this show for days it is fucking amazing

Banana Fish is my favorite show because some how it helped when I was going through a very hard time in my life. The show has a good amount of action while also being sad and for me it was kinda like showing found family but then shows the reality of losing people you are close with in life.
Clone Wars was a WILD show I loved it. It went from cute android adventure to find the right fruit to a coven of space witches trying to drain the magic of a planet. Also the clones are the best characters in Star Wars. And that show is the reason I like Anakin at all. I'm not even a major Star Wars fan. (For some reason, it's exactly the type of thing I like,) The movies didn't really do it for me, but the shows are amazing. The Mandalorian is also top tier and I have heard exceptional things about Andor. And of course Bad Batch, which is the same art style as Clone Wars.
Danny I know you’ve watched it but SK8 THE INFINITY IS THE BEST I literally love it first of all the ships renga matchablossom CHEFS KISS amazing but also Langas backstory it’s sad but it also show how Reki make him happy again and god the angst episode 7 broke me but it really shows what it’s like Rekis anxiety Langas trauma from his dad dying then they put it all together again sk8 is such a amazing show and I’ll forever recommend it
my favourite show is soo out of character for me lmaoo. ouran high school host club is absolutely great! a female student on a scholarship to a prestigious private school stumbles upon a club full of rich pretty boys who adopt her into the club because of her masculine figure. imo this is a great comfort anime due to the lighthearted romance and fluff. i do recommend this to anyone who wants a romance anime with non-gender conforming representation :)
Outerbanks, it’s a super underrated netflix series about a teenager and his teenager friends found out about his missing dad and the treasure he was chasing, it has lots of drama and action packed scenes, definitely recommend watching.
Trust me... Fruits basket 2019. Really good anime series. I loved everything about it. All reasons why the bad guy is that way really made me feel bad ,but I still felt angry towards the bad guy Akio (I hope I spelled the name right) , but all the characters are awesome. There's lots of comedy and some romance but a slice of life. There are 3 seasons.
Yona of the dawn/Akatsuki no Yona was the very first anime I got into and is the first manga series I've ever read. It holds a lot of sentimental value and the characters are hilarious, I highly recommend it!
If you like shows like JJK and CSM, there is a new show airing right now by Mappa called Hell's Paradise. Very gruesome but so far I think it's really good.

You don't understand how happy I am that you mentioned TOH oh my god I love it so much, it is my safe place and just the most awesome show I have ever watched. The LGBTQ representation, the way they show mental health issues, the storyline, the character growth, the action to detail, everything is just amazing, it's such a perfect show. 100% recommended, please watch it and don't judge it by the first few episodes, it REALLY takes off in Season 2. Also you will cry. A lot.

If you are a fan of Brooklyn 99 you will LOVE this NBC show called superstore. It's honesty a super underrated show and needs more people to appreciate it's existence
I have MANY problems with MLB in the way they handle their characters and it isn’t just about the love hexagon. The choices they make, established plot points get contradicted constantly by new other plot points and the show as a whole focuses on the love hexagon even though it really should have been resolved a lot sooner than now. Not to mention the questionable (at best) messages a lot of the episodes end up giving if you think about them for too long. I can’t agree with the S-teir due to these reasons but I will say that anyone who still loves this show even after all of these seasons is a stronger person than I am. (I’m still watching the movie tho-)
You should definitely check out Phineas and Ferb which is an amazing show about to brothers who build stuff and how their older sister is always trying to get them in trouble. While that is happening, their pet platypus is busy running away to fight Dr. Doofenshmurtz (bad guy) who is always trying to get revenge on someone. The platypus (Perry) is also a secret agent. Another great show is Gravity Falls. It takes place in Gravity Falls, Oregon and its about twin who are sent away for the summer by their parents. They live at the Mystery Shack with their Grunkle (great uncle) Stan, who owns and runs the Shack. Its a hilarious show that you should definitely watch.
My favorite show is “The Disastrous Life of Saiki K”, because I like how he breaks the fourth wall and how he doesn’t fall in love with everyone he meets.
I do love Saiki K, except I hate how everyone who meets saiki falls in love with him. I think it's every slice of life high school movie in anime does this, and it makes me sad that that aspect of it was unoriginal.

Definitely check out Rise of The Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. A new iteration that was funny, yet had wonderful themes of found family and Leo isn't the leader for once! Also, April is a woman of color in the show, as well as many of the other non-turtle side characters.
You put my feelings for miraculous ladybug into words man🥲🥲🥲 I love that show so much for no reason! When Star vs the forces of evil came out it was the show I moved. But Star vs has such a better plot man I cried when it ended

Elementary remains my favorite show they genderswapped Watson but didn't make it romantic (platonic soulmate vibes are top tier) but the main reason it's my favorite is that the turtle from the show, Clyde, was actually TWO turtles named Bonnie and Clyde, because the turtles would get tired out after filming for too long so they swapped them out frequently to let them take breaks. I totally agree that Miraculous Ladybug is overstaying its welcome, I was a HUGE fan of it a while back but it’s not fun to watch anymore and they just keep reusing similar plots and villains. Tbh they should’ve wrapped it up after 3 seasons and it would’ve had a good run.

I found Miraculous ladybug when i was in high school and I sat in the closet that was in our classroom during break and free periods to watch it. (Didn't know i was queer at this time. Funny) It was my comfort show then and still kinda is. Its not my favourite show but i just need to keep up to see if luca gets a lover he deserves. My favorite show is Castlevania from Netflix. The animation is fucking amazing, smooth and detailed. You can see the passion behind it! The character designs are beautiful! And the supernatural aspects are so sexy! Animations are so amazing. Please give it a watch love. I warn you it has gore, religious aspects but there is some queer representation.💋✨️ Don't like star wars but it was great hearing how passionate you are over it. In regards to MLB: the pause before asking "hows your relationship with your parents?" hurt. I felt so called out. I love the show (and a few other kids cartoon type shows) because of the safety feel. Also hearing Danny say he was 20 made me go "aww, you're a baby" I'm not even 30 yet, when did this happen..?
Personally shows I really love are “I Am Not Okay With This” and “Girl From Nowhere.” I think “I Am Not Okay With This” was a great show from beginning to end. “Girl From Nowhere” surprised me a bit. It’s a Thai show and honestly I didn’t expect it to be so good. I saw something about it once somewhere and decided to watch it one day. I love S1 Ep1, 4, 8, 10, 12, and 13. My absolute favorite episode though is S2 Ep 3.
You should definitely watch umbrella academy! It’s been one of my favorite shows ever and I love it so much! I read the comics before it came out and it’s pretty different but not so much so that it’s unrecognizable!!

They live at the Mystery Shack with their Grunkle (great uncle) Stan, who owns and runs the Shack. Its a hilarious show that you should definitely watch.
My favorite show is “The Disastrous Life of Saiki K”, because I like how he breaks the fourth wall and how he doesn’t fall in love with everyone he meets.
I do love Saiki K, except I hate how everyone who meets saiki falls in love with him. I think it's every slice of life high school movie in anime does this, and it makes me sad that that aspect of it was unoriginal.

Definitely check out Rise of The Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. A new iteration that was funny, yet had wonderful themes of found family and Leo isn't the leader for once! Also, April is a woman of color in the show, as well as many of the other non-turtle side characters.

As for my favourite show? Death Note. Simply because it's one of the only shows I've ever watched that had me SCREAMING for the protagonists downfall, and really wanted the "antagonist" (I don't like calling L the antagonist, even though he was😅) to win. Elementary remains my favorite show they genderswapped Watson but didn't make it romantic (platonic soulmate vibes are top tier) but the main reason it's my favorite is that the turtle from the show, Clyde, was actually TWO turtles named Bonnie and Clyde, because the turtles would get tired out after filming for too long so they swapped them out frequently to let them take breaks. Clyde the turtle had a stunt double for when he got sleepy. Iconic behavior

I totally agree that Miraculous Ladybug is overstaying its welcome, I was a HUGE fan of it a while back but it’s not fun to watch anymore and they just keep reusing similar plots and villains. Tbh they should’ve wrapped it up after 3 seasons and it would’ve had a good run.
I feel like my favorite shows are police procedures like Law & Order or Criminal Minds. I will rewatch them for hours of days on end . ( When they get boring is a get measure of how depressed I am) . Plus I grew up watching them it's one of the few shows that me and my dad will watch together.

I found Miraculous ladybug when i was in high school and I sat in the closet that was in our classroom during break and free periods to watch it. (Didn't know i was queer at this time. Funny) It was my comfort show then and still kinda is. Its not my favourite show but i just need to keep up to see if luca gets a lover he deserves.
My favorite show is Castlevania from Netflix. The animation is fucking amazing, smooth and detailed. You can see the passion behind it! The character designs are beautiful! And the supernatural aspects are so sexy! Animations are so amazing. Please give it a watch love. I warn you it has gore, religious aspects but there is some queer representation.💋✨️

I have a lot of favorites, but I gotta say that the oddest one is called Världens Hemskaste Sjukdomar (world's most horrible diseases) which is a swedish educational kids show about, you guessed it, pandemics through history
In regards to MLB: the pause before asking "hows your relationship with your parents?" hurt. I felt so called out. I love the show (and a few other kids cartoon type shows) because of the safety feel. Also hearing Danny say he was 20 made me go "aww, you're a baby" I'm not even 30 yet, when did this happen..?
Personally shows I really love are “I Am Not Okay With This” and “Girl From Nowhere.” I think “I Am Not Okay With This” was a great show from beginning to end. “Girl From Nowhere” surprised me a bit. It’s a Thai show and honestly I didn’t expect it to be so good. I saw something about it once somewhere and decided to watch it one day. I love S1 Ep1, 4, 8, 10, 12, and 13. My absolute favorite episode though is S2 Ep 3.
Inside job is my favorite show because of the humor, characters, plots and the ending made me cry

You should definitely watch umbrella academy! It’s been one of my favorite shows ever and I love it so much! I read the comics before it came out and it’s pretty different but not so much so that it’s unrecognizable!!
