I haven't visited Russian people, but when I was in middle school (8th grade, 13 years old) my family welcomed and hosted a Russian exchange student from Protvino. I remember his name from 25 years ago, but I can't find him because I can't search in Cyrillic.
I love your channel and just subscribed. You seem like a very lovely, patient woman that enjoys teaching. Thank you very much! I've always loved the Russian culture and my family is in the US now (Daytona Beach, Florida), but we came from Belarus and I don't know any of the culture we left behind. Thankfully the internet allows us to easily connect with people and learn the culture (I know Belarus isn't the same exact culture, but I think there are some similar things). I wish to make these connections again and learn about the area I'm truly from.
Anyway, I love your channel. You have great charisma and a very warm personality! Thank you for your lessons, I hope to visit Russia someday! I pray the tensions go away. I love the culture and the people!

@@IloveRussian Когда я вижу мужчину, который не хочет платить за сопровождающую его женщину, но я знаю, что у него есть деньги, я думаю, что он дешевый или плохой компаньон, или и то, и другое. Некультурный, грубый. Я думаю, что мужчина должен платить за женщину не потому, что она не может сделать это сама, а потому, что это мужская работа. Он должен гордиться и находить радость в том, чтобы обеспечивать женщину. Если он не может заплатить, возможно, у него нет работы ... тогда, когда он снова найдет работу, он должен этой женщине 2 тарелки за каждую 1, которую она купила для него. И цветы 😂

How does «Не за что» make sense? The closest thing in English might be “Not at all” which is hard to rationalize as well.
Hello! We can translate this phrase like “My pleasure”, “You’re welcome”. But literally it means “Don’t thank me” ☺️
