Perhaps Din's bathing in the living waters redeems him in the eyes of the Armorer, but more importantly, himself internally. That psychological redemption may enable him to wield the Darksaber, and perhaps to ultimately tame the Mythosaur. Otherwise, I don't see him holding onto the Darksaber and thus someone else taming it. It's essentially going to be Din, Grogu, Bo, or Boba. Spin the wheel!
Dinn and Bo were probably blessed by the Mythosaur, hell now that the can of myth is wide open for Bo Katan after seeing that king Arthur fairytale display Dinn was reciting and then the Mythosaur, it'll probably be taken as a sign that the new Mandalore has been chosen.

A third Mandalorian jedi (though not cannon, so what Theory said was 100% correct) was Bardan Jusik. He was in the Republic Commando novels, and he started off as a Jedi but ended up joining the Mandalorians and got adopted by a Mandalorian called Kal Skirata.
This one wasn't that aggressive though. It let Din lay there and didn't even move when Bo jetted past it. Also, on the more practical side, if these creatures are so huge, what do they eat and how much? How could the one in the sacred waters survive?
It could be this is a young one considering it didn't look like the size of even a skyscraper when some can be the size of a small city etc, young animals tend to be less aggressive and more curious than anything.
I think they started to set up Din to be the new leader of the Mandalorians, it almost seemed like Bo was starting to see it when he was reciting his oath as he entered the living waters
Nah Bo Katan will manipulate the cult and try to rule the mandalorians again. Din is the true mandalorian. She’s keeping the Mythasaurs a secret for some reason
Marry? What kind of BS Fanfic are you writing in your head. Most likely BO Katan will end up w Both the Darksaber and the Mythosaur Take over the Job of rebuilding the Manolorean people and DIn and Grogu will then MOVE on to have adventures all over the Galaxy, vs them getting Married and living a Boring as Life as politicians.
I think that Boba will ride the Mythosaur and become the new ruler of Mandalore. I believe that is why they showed Boba having a way of taming and riding giant beasts like his rancor. He even said he has ridden bigger creatures. He also has the personality and wisdom of a leader. I also think he will then, after the big finale, propose that the survival of Mandalore and their people is best left to a group of unified leaders. Basically like the Justice League, the Avengers, the knights of the round table, etc. . Only elite Mandalorians are allowed a place at this table. This also fits with Boba's newly learned philosophy that "You can only get so far without a tribe." The members could consist of: Boba Fett Din Djarin Bo Katan Sabine Wren Fenn Rau A potential member could be Omega. Perhaps Boba found her or finds her and she becomes a Mandalorian by swearing the creed. Just throwing that out there.
@The Weavile And it won't take away anything from Din and Bo's development either. Din should still have the Darksaber. Perhaps Din and Bo could go on a journey to not only further build their relationship, but to also forge her own saber. This way they could explore more into how the Darksaber was made and why it is the way it is. The 2 sabers could be like a Yin and Yang symbolism for this new age of Mandalore. The symbol of the unification of the 2 major Mandalorian clans.
I don't think it's that simple; a "There can be only one" approach is just maintaining the status quo, the one that got them into this mess in the first place. I have a feeling that we are going to see something new, an evolution as it were that involves both Din and Bo-Katan with Grogu and more importantly the Mythosaur, who may be akin to the Bendu.
I know this is from a very long time ago, but you should make a video on how under rated the fight scene in season 5 episode 1 of the clone wars is between maul and savage vs obi-wan. So good. Proves obi-wans fight IQ is insane. He picks out savages knee and uses it when he is pinned and sees an opening. Master of sor-sue.
Bo katan was the only one who saw it in the water, Din was pasted out. She didn't mention anything to Din about it. My guess she's gonna use it for her own advantage
I’ve been catching up on your videos. Without doubt, my favorite moment of the past year is your excited announcement, “Here we go, [Original Trilogy] special features!,” followed by “Lego Star Wars.”
My theory is Grogu will tame the beast and allow Bo-Katan to ride it, while Din wields the Dark Saber, I say this mainly because Grogu has been growing in a very Gray/Neutral Jedi environment, Luke in Legends did fall to the Dark Side, and even when he came back he removed a lot of the ancient jedi rules (like the ones around attachment) and Ahsoka while as close to a light side paragon as one can get this of Obi Wan has flirted with the Dark Side, she did enjoy force choking a couple of inquisitors a little bit (if I remember correctly, and i'd not mind being choked by Ahsoka a little bit) and has stated always and firmly she is no Jedi meaning she is ok with Killing in revenge and/or anger when she deems it necessary, which is why I think what little he's learned of the force and how it affects our world has been a lot more nuanced than what he a padawan like Ezra or Kal has. But A Mandalorian family growing a new Dynasty (and mandalorians originally were not required to be from mandalore, just followers of the creed) of Manadlore split between clan Mudhorn and clan Kyrze (throw in some Wren and Vizsla too as they'd be involved in politics anyway) and you got a story... but that's just me. Anyway the thing to take away here is Jon Favreau and Dave Filoni are true and real lovers of star wars and it's canon, and they consistently produce excellent stuff (compared to all the other star wars we got in the past few years) I mean, the way they've made Ashoka as a character universally beloved and a name like Bo-Katan just ring in the ears of Star Wras fanboys even when mentioned it's absolutely astonishing. I belive when they said that each episode they film they try to put a WOW moment in it, this last episode it was the Mythosaurs (which all fans of star wars would know about), another one with a wow moment straight of the bat was S02's the Jedi when we saw Ahsoka again, Another one was Bo-Katan's appearance, Thrawn's name drop, and so on and so forth.
Din encountered the Mythosaur first and it showed no aggression towards him. This was before Bo saw it. The creature looked right at Din while it pretty much ignored Bo. Also Din has a way with calming beasts as we saw in season one or two while in the desert. Din has been fulfilling everything he needs to fulfill that puts him line to become Mandalore. Not Bo Katan.
I think Bo-Katan will mentor Dinn in leadership because Season 3 Episode 2 is her rekindling her faith in the Ancient Mandalorian Traditions that should be practiced with her family under her father's guidance during her childhood. Dinn will likely become the new Mandalore the Ultimate but a more peaceful and honorable leader. Mandalore the Ultimate started as a normal Taung warrior. After claiming the helmet of Mandalore the Indomitable, Mandalore the Ultimate worked to improve his leadership skills. I think Dinn Djarin will become the new Mandalore (Mandalore the Protector is a good title). Bo-Katan and Boba Fett will probably become his ruling advisors who help Dinn how to improve his leadership skill (Bo-Katan teaches Dinn politics while Boba Fett teaches Dinn how to survive treachery). Grogu will also likely grow up to become a Mandalorian.
I won't lie this was so cool seeing the Mythosaur for the first time in live action this next episode of The Mandalorian this new season has me so hype and curious with what they will be doing with the main character Mando and Grogu (baby yoda) .
It's been written in both cannon and legends that the Jedi have been trained and able to calm animals through the force, beginning while they were younglings. But some Jedi have had more abilities to connect with certain animals. Ezra with Lothcats and Lothwolves. A Padawan called Bell Zettifar had a Charhound as a pet. Asoka had that Owl thing called Morai. Grogu would have been trained to calm animals (which he did to the Rancor) however, we never know how much of a connection a "Yoda species" can connect to animals. Perhaps Grogu will find a way to not only calm the Mythosaur but connect to it and discover secrets of the planet and the Mandalorians. There's rumours that Grogu will Speak remember!
I always figured that the Mythosaurs where never extinct but instead hibernating. There is a good chance the purge was what woke it up from its hibernation as well. Not sure how I feel about any of the shows characters riding it like a bantha. But I also wonder if this is the one that was initially tamed. Once his Mandalore died it also died(hibernation) Its never really mention what happen to that mythasour just that the living waters is his lair and is where the first Mythasour was tamed. If it was also a young Mythasour easier to imprint on this could be the adult version of that one as well. Honestly can't wait for the next episode. SOOOO many possibilities and ways to go forth. This is the only series that actually makes me feel like a kid again reading a starwars EU book/game and just letting my creative mind explore possibilities.
I hope din djarin tames this mythosaur and brings the mandalorian tribes back together, din on a mythosaur wielding the darksaber with a mandalorian/Jedi foundling would be the stuff of legends.
I have a tattoo of the mandalorian mythosaur skull on my arm. As soon as I saw a live mythosaur I was quite shocked and now I want to learn more about them
I couldn't help but notice the skill, comfort and proficiency in which Bo Katan weilded the dark sabre (in contrast with our favorite hero), but would her taming of the mythosaur bring strife and conflict to the unity (as she has political enemies) VS Grogu, which is virtually unheard of, unknown, as a Jedi-Mandalorian, and politically unknown to all, would be a welcome sight?
Great to see it, and seeing that I think the show name, "The Mandalorian" refers to Grogu, I still feel he tames it for himself or Din, or tries and an intervention kills the mythosaur and leads the Mandos to create a life for themselves free of myth and tradition.

I mean for the mythosoar to reveal it self when mando falls In the water could be the force doing it's thing as well. Mando being the one to ride the mythosoar and have the blade makes sense as well.
