God Emperor would be a very strange film to adapt, idk how it would be done without changing the story quite a bit. Definitely would need an experienced writer’s room to adapt it into something more theatric
Unfortunately, as Kona said, Denis decided he will stop at Messiah, concluding Paul's story. Children and God Emperor are quite... challenging to adapt and so he will leave some crumbs to connect Messiah with the Children/God Emperor storyline a bit more and other filmmakers can take the baton. Here's hoping we get a director who is very much into not only more trippy shit but also a lot of CGI. Leto will need it HAHA

I’m actually glad I’m too old for IMAX….the noise is just intolerable for my wife and I, so I no longer have to worry about FOMA. I’ll enjoy my ticket to a normal viewing experience :)

I don't hate a lot of things, but Timothée Chalamet's casting. is one of them. Villeneuve's butchering of so many of the characters and cultures is another. These are without a doubt beautifully filmed movies and Villeneuve absolutely nailed (IMO) the look and feel of the Dune universe, but overall, it's just jarring.
