Naftali Herstik need no "grades" or affirmations from me... he is the Master of Chazzanut, and there's no end to what we can learn from him. Listening to him makes gives me the shivers. It is so beautiful, that it is beyond words.
I was there in the Great Synagogue that night. While I was davenning my 4 year old daughter, Aviva, was in the lobby raising a tumult with Eli Jaffe's twin sons. Naftali is one of the greats!
