You should look at Sins of The Prophets when you can.

It's awesome that Sins is so moddable! In addition, I have been enjoying the Star Wars Mods too. Anyway, I just really wanted to know what version of Sins I needed to begin with before applying the mods. So, as you say, Sins of a Solar Empire: Rebellion, the latest release with all available patches, then apply the mod as downloaded from the modding site?Same with Star Wars mod I assume? Start with Rebellion?Thank you VERY much in advance for any help you might provide. I know it's been a pretty long time since you posted this and began giving advice regarding modding for STA3. Ok I'm trying to play the SoGE and I did everything this video said and the "Read Me" document thing but my mod wont launch and idk what I'm doing wrong! :\ please help!

Hey. I recently subscribed to you Chanel and I love you videos. I've been playing sins for a while now and wanted to get armada 3. When I downloaded it and uncompressed it the read me and the extra EnabledMods.txt wasn't there. I'm new to modi g so it might just be me but I was wondering if theirs an actual problem where those files didn't show up. And keep making videos!
For those who are using the steam version of Sins of a Solar empire go to your C:// Drive than go to Program Files. Next Find a folder named "Steam". Once opened find a folder called Steamapps and open that than open common. Once in common open SOASE. Follow tutorial from here.

It is because the game uses alot of ram. the large adress aware unlocks the programs limit to use 2g of ram-there should be part in video for it.

thanks so much, I thought the mods folder had to be created under the steam library location it was a surprise to find that they go to an entirely different location, in my documents.

I've been watching most of your Star Wars Empire at War play throughs and was wondering if you can make a video on modding it, I've been having trouble and there are no good videos on how to do it.

I followed every step to the letter but everytime i select the sins exe to install the mod, i get a message saying "catastrophic failure"...dafuq
im still having trouble using a mod. i have to use v0.55.41800
i found it and both mods show up in my mod folder in game, but the game doesnt change to the mod after activating them
Quick question, if you still read these comments that is, I play Sins of a Galactic Empire as well, and it requires the same txt document style copy and paste so that it can be found to play, " 3:46 "
Will that make a conflict between the two mods and if so do I need to constantly open up my mods folders and always copy and paste for each time I want to play one or the other, not the same one over and over again?
know im kinda late but when i did that and enabled and apllied the mod the checksum goes to 0 and does nothing ive done everything in this video just a pain
Not working for me. 1.82 mod is an exe file and my steam can't see it, even though its in the right destination.
Found A way to fix it?

You can't go through steam apps, sadly. You actually have to go through my games and the sort. Just figured it out, a bit late.

The Ironclad Games folder is not there. When I search for it, the file only appears on the administrator accounts users. Do I have to be an administrator for the file to be there?
I've Installed It using the installer and the mod just doesn't load, and i have no mods menu in settings either?
This install method no longer appears to be working with 1.82 Sins of a Solar Empire. Video needs updating or description needs updating. The new hot fix is also missing files as well as the Enabled mods txt file is not included either.
7zip is better for opening the file. It's also free.
So is winrar

hello I just downloaded the Sins of a solar empire and I see that when I installed it that it has version 1.85. This will be the first time that I install the mod. How do I install the mod if It is at version 1.85 in the users file.
Yeah but how do you run a Large Address Aware program for Sins: Rebellion? A lot of other mods need it and it is kind of a mystery to find the right pathway for it.

I have a problem. The only game files I can find in My Games are those for Rebel Galaxy, while I have SoaSE: Rebellion installed. What do I do now?

ive tried every way i can figure out haw to install i had it going once but stalled after 20 mins ive left it a few months and am tryimg again and cant get it to even go to sins now
so i downloaded star trek armada 3, and i went to play it, but it wont let me choose my own team,because if i do, it crashes. Did i do something wrong when i downloaded it? or is it just because the game's in beta, and there are some errors?
What can you do if you have more then one mod for the same game because it's kinda confused me about which files to activate

Really wish I had seen your lets plays a few days ago, before the steam sale ended. I have the original Sins, not Rebellion. So I'm guessing this mod won't work. I'll just have to watch your vids until its on sale again.
Question. I'm trying to install 1.2.1 and followed the instructions, the only difference being I did not get another Enabledmods file to override the one the game naturally generates. Any ideas on how to get it from the unzip?

I have the game from Steam and I do not have a My Documents folder for Sins... How do I install?
with version 1.82, all you have to do is move the installation files into the new folder for 1.82.

Okay so when I don't know the Mass Effect mod for Sins of a Solar Empire rebellion you didn't come with the enable mod. Text I had sins of a prophet already installed so I tried to use the enable mod from that but that didn't work and I can't find enable mod for this mod can somebody give me some support and help here because I'm stuck trying to find something I'm not sure if the Creator just wanted me to use the file the 7 zip or try and find the enable mod

Will this technique work for "Sins of the Prophets" mod? Because I dragged the File Folder into the Mods-Rebellion v1.82 folder and it says it is taking 2 hours and 15 minutes. I would appreciate a response from anyone who knows.
At first winrar worked and I was able to install this mod, but then it stopped working for some reason. Whenever I tried to open winrar I got the message "The item referred to by this shortcut cannot be accessed. You might not have the appropriate permissions." Is it because I'm not paying for it? Do I need to open the mod folder with winrar? Does anybody else have this problem?
