playing since feb 5th this year on cn server, have around 6 14+ SSS and 3 14+ SSS+ rating around 15.6k, hopefully i can get 16k by the end of this year
There are many reason that may hinders you from improving. Depending on what's the reason, the way to tackle it are also different. You may let me know your issue in game and I'll try to figure out.
@@miraixu6817 i often find myself getting tired pretty often and i get to sweat a lot, even when playing 13MASs, i managed to S my first 13+ MAS like two months ago but aside from that i kinda stopped increasing my rating, i don’t really tryhard the game since most of the time i play the same songs just for fun (might be the reason my rating isn’t increasing) but still i cant get past that difficulty wall and i get tired pretty fast, arms feel heavy all of sudden
I've watched your Quattuorux gameplay earlier, and it definitely overwhelms you as your usual routine is playing about the same songs, which makes you unable to properly read the chart. As for the stamina issue, I was a focused taiko player before I play maimai so I find it easier to muster harder difficulty given my stamina is slightly better than average. I'd say you may try taking small step at a time: Start from Master 12 charts and gradually step up as you get SSS/SSS+, play while learning the way of master charting. Stamina will be a later story as I find improving your overall reading and accuracy are in higher priority.
Additionally, you may watch more maimai recorded plays (put it in slowmo) and watch how they move their hands to avoid hand conflict, and also indirectly learn the charting. AstroDX is also another way to practice in home and it has build in practice feature where you can make the song slower and practice the parts that you have no idea how to hit.
I'd say depend on how well you adapt in rhythm games. It will take less time if you have more rhythm game experience. AstroDX also helps a lot if you're stuck in certain patterns and need practice under the hood. As long as not over relying on it then you're fine.
