The judge is known as “Send ‘em home Salem” in the jailhouse? Even if that is true, why would you publicly tell the judge that? You just gave him every reason to disprove his reputation with your sentence, right now. I swear, some people just don't think before they speak.

Even if he beats the murder case he's going to spend the best years of his life in prison. He's like 20-22 now and will be locked up for all of his 20's. A man only gets to live once and to miss all of your 20's is insane. I'm 29 now and I look back at the past 9-10 years and all the fun I had in those times and couldn't imagine not having those memories. It's the type of life you and your friends don't get to live at 30+ cause you all have responsibilities whether it be a job, family, kids etc. This man had a chance to change too. His music was blowing up fast, he got a slap on the wrist in his last case, he escaped death at least 3 times that we know of including one in which his innocent girlfriend got killed. You'd think this kid would count his blessings and stay focused on music as opposed to the dead end streets but he had to go and screw it up.

The man escaped death on numerous occasions including one assassination attempt that his innocent girlfriend ended up getting killed in, he had a promising rap career ahead of him and to throw it away like this is really stupid. He has zero accountability and has been raised to believe the color of his skin and the neighborhood he grew up in should get him a free ride on life. We shit on cops every day but never ever focus on these young men in gangs, killing each other. No matter what, you still have a choice. Even if you grew up that way, you have a choice. And you chose to rap about and glorify the violence you've seen. My sons dad was killed when our son was 5 months old. We were homeless, I had to place him to be safe while I was on the streets. I'd been raped, beaten, jumped. I never hurt anyone. Myself maybe but that's it. I turned to drugs. I felt sorry for myself. Blamed everyone else. Well I had to grow up, I had to take accountability. I did it with zero family. Zero support. I have 5 years clean, a job and an apartment my son back. I made a choice that I wasn't going to hurt my son anymore by being a shit mom. This guy has every exscuse in the world. He's shot someone before. He only cares because he's facing time. Grow up.
