It’s designed for the majority of players, the casual players. It’s also an addition to the gacha part of the game that players have missed so much since the brawl boxes were removed. While some people liked club league because of its better rewards, the change was good for the game’s health because it’s a benefit for the majority of players instead of the top players, a.k.a the minority. I’m one of those top players, but I understand they made the change for the better. If the devs had to focus on either the newer/less involved players or the small amount of super dedicated players, it makes sense to cater an event like this toward the bigger part of the player base
Makes sense, but things like the Godzilla and mega box event has filled that void, with these types of events, Mega pig Literally serves no purpose other than to be that thing you might do occasionally, It doesn’t have that hype factor, it doesn’t really give that same dopamine kick other events offer, and its whole gameplay structure is just so lame. Honestly they should bring back a reworked club league since dedicated players have lost a lot of things while casual players have been eating very well. Maybe they could even make it so that both events can coexist.

Godzilla was a club event so that makes sense and mega pig can run alongside the mega box event since mega boxes didn’t give the same rewards. We also didn’t get those kinds of events often so when there isn’t one that’s when mega pig comes into play. I doubt they will go back to Club League and I’d imagine it’s difficult to create something both players will enjoy. Club League was too much and Mega Pig is too little. imo, the best way to fix mega pig is to make it bi weekly (happen every 2 weeks) instead of monthly, so that it can compete with the club league rewards

supercell really struggles with clans. Clan wars 2 in CR is a fail , Mega Pig is a fail. At least CoC is doing well on that behalf. maybe there's some learning to be had here.
Club league just felt annoying because you had to wait every other day for a week to play 4 games at a time all for like 1000 coins instead of letting us grind for a single day and get multiple rewards like coins AND PowerPoints AND skins from starr drops which is way more exciting when you get something rare instead of knowing exactly what you’ll get

Mainly because it replaced Club League, which was a more reliable and rewarding event. The problem with it is you had to have a very active club willing to play every other week. They changed it to Mega Pig to let the casual players have an easier time with it
