You are such a nice person and you don't deserve the hate, you help the sick/lost/stranded animals that no one would other wise care for or save.

I just received two red eye sliders. About 7 years old, male and female. One with turtle shell rot and the other has some spine peaking but very early stage. Doing allot of research. Time to brush a turtles shell and apply some medical stuff to stop the bacteria. Thank goodness for videos like this that educate people. I saved them because they were family turtles and someone was going to release into the wild. So yeah being the responsible human here. Thank you for the videos and hopefullly I can enjoy these two little critters for the rest of my life :)

I need some serious help!! Awhile ago my cat had kittens and the kittens are doing fine besides one. You know how when kittens are young they get those eye-boogers in their eyes? Well my kitten Cheeto has had that for awhile in her eyes. We didn't know but his eyes soon got infected, his eyeball got swollen up and is now popping out of its socket! It isn't dangling out of anything but it is half way to that point. We don't know what to do and my dad can't afford to take her to the vet, we really need help!
Barry Nugget I'm sorry but if you can't afford to care for your cats you shouldn't have them. Your best option is to re-home your cats and give them to somebody who can afford to take them to the vet. It's selfish to keep them. If the cat has an infection it can travel to the brain if it's untreated. If that happens your cat will die a horrible drawn out death. Please, for the sake of your cat give it away to a responsible owner or take it to the vet. It has a life of its own there's no room to be selfish.
The cats are not inside or house pets. A few years ago a huge group of cats appeared at my house, one of which was pregnant. The one that was pregnant stayed while the rest left as it was most likely a clowder (or group of cats). We named that cat Stripes but refer her as "Mama-Cat" because she is a great mother and loves kids and kittens. However, she is getting old therefore not being able to take care of her kittens as well. The cats hunt for themselves and we feed them scraps or leftovers of our food. What happened to this kitten was beyond anyones control as "Mama-Cat" took the kittens over to our neighbors (thats what she does with some litters idk why, she takes them back and forth). Our neighbors are horrible people who treat their pets badly. One time my dad and his girlfriend went on a date so we went to their house for the night. (Me and my Siblings). The had so many dogs chained to poles with no food or water near as well as far more cats then we have ever had or will have. Those cats had been inbreeding, therefore being sickly and making that kitten sick as well. This has actually killed one of Mama-Cats past litter. We can afford to feed the cats as they mainly provide for themselves (I do sneak them in the house when my dad is gone sometimes for extra feeding) but when they get sick we can only hope they are strong enough to stay alive. We had to put kittens out of their misery before and we may have to do it now....we are doing all we can by cleaning the eye and feeding that kitten extra but nothing seems to be helping :( If we could help we would but we can't and the rest of the cats are fine. I don't think it would be a good idea to re-home the kitten because it will die soon (most likely we will put him out of his misery before he suffers more) and nobody would want a kitten with an eye popping out (I mean I would but most people in this world today would rather kick it to the side and run).... Sorry to write so much and tell some things that may not be necessary, but they were for me to give you all details of the story, so I hope it helped you understand and I was being silly asking for help...so yeah..bye and thanks for trying to help.

Barry Nugget I'm sorry but if you can't afford to care for your cats you shouldn't have them. Your best option is to re-home your cats and give them to somebody who can afford to take them to the vet. It's selfish to keep them. If the cat has an infection it can travel to the brain if it's untreated. If that happens your cat will die a horrible drawn out death. Please, for the sake of your cat give it away to a responsible owner or take it to the vet. It has a life of its own there's no room to be selfish.
The cats are not inside or house pets. A few years ago a huge group of cats appeared at my house, one of which was pregnant. The one that was pregnant stayed while the rest left as it was most likely a clowder (or group of cats). We named that cat Stripes but refer her as "Mama-Cat" because she is a great mother and loves kids and kittens. However, she is getting old therefore not being able to take care of her kittens as well. The cats hunt for themselves and we feed them scraps or leftovers of our food. What happened to this kitten was beyond anyones control as "Mama-Cat" took the kittens over to our neighbors (thats what she does with some litters idk why, she takes them back and forth). Our neighbors are horrible people who treat their pets badly. One time my dad and his girlfriend went on a date so we went to their house for the night. (Me and my Siblings). The had so many dogs chained to poles with no food or water near as well as far more cats then we have ever had or will have. Those cats had been inbreeding, therefore being sickly and making that kitten sick as well. This has actually killed one of Mama-Cats past litter. We can afford to feed the cats as they mainly provide for themselves (I do sneak them in the house when my dad is gone sometimes for extra feeding) but when they get sick we can only hope they are strong enough to stay alive. We had to put kittens out of their misery before and we may have to do it now....we are doing all we can by cleaning the eye and feeding that kitten extra but nothing seems to be helping :( If we could help we would but we can't and the rest of the cats are fine. I don't think it would be a good idea to re-home the kitten because it will die soon (most likely we will put him out of his misery before he suffers more) and nobody would want a kitten with an eye popping out (I mean I would but most people in this world today would rather kick it to the side and run).... Sorry to write so much and tell some things that may not be necessary, but they were for me to give you all details of the story, so I hope it helped you understand and I was being silly asking for help...so yeah..bye and thanks for trying to help.
