Cecile de Boever and Susan Graham reveal their souls in the most moving performances of those arias/arioso I´ve ever seen. I listened to the CD-recording many, many times but to watch them singing is a different dimension. This video makes me really crying.

In 0:43 I think she's thinking of the French word "fourni", meaning a "full" orchestra, but quickly and gracefully realizes that "furnished" is a "false friend" and not the right translation in this context.

the way how Susan Graham makes the sound of "remember me" more ligthen is heartbreaking .

Susan Graham is the best Dido since Kirsten Flagstad. Well . . . let us not forget Janet Baker.
This confirms the impression I had from first hearing the recording ... Dido is both a queen and a woman wronged. Graham's Dido is touching, vocally shattering ... but she is all wronged woman with very little hint of the queen. I can't say this is a disappointment, as her portrayal is so utterly convincing. On this video, you can utterly see that she is embodying the saddest music in the world.
