Good discussion, guys. My personal insider on the matter says that this is the most like what the fans have come to expect from the first two movies. Given the talent in charge of this, I think it's going to be good.
Great video guys, been looking forward to hearing your thoughts on the new trailer. I LOVED it!! Just in the teaser, it appears they have nailed the asthestic/tone of Alien, taking us back to the horror. So excited for this.
The Girl who gets hugged is the same actress that theyre removing the face hugger from. So we already know she was going to get hugged. So showing her getting face hugged in the first place wasn't even bad
I've now watched the trailer 20 plus times, apart from the obvious i got major Dead Space vibes specially the gravity scene i know Dead Space is a copy of Alien but Dead Space does have its own stamp on it. Honestly vibes from all 6 movies in one. I hope the miniatures for the ships is right i watched Alien last night and the Nostromo looked so real i still don't believe that they are models they looked so realistic. The M41 she uses in the trailer makes me think of Fire Team be interested if he's a gamer and took bits from Isolation / Fire Team ect.. and used them. Be nice to see those AI bots walking around and maybe mention of Amanda (Ripley) assuming the time line Amanda could be mid 20s 30s being in between Alien and Aliens? Also interested if Ridley didn't like the idea of a queen where was the eggs supposed to of come from? Great video BTW
Why do people keep saying the silver teeth are "back"? Every single iteration has had them, including Covenant (no, they weren't transparent - the very poster you're talking about clearly shows the metallic teeth - they aren't as shiny, but they are clearly metallic silver).
Even though im exicted for the release of the full trailer, I think I may actually skip it this time and just leave it with this teaser. I want to go into the film without any idea of what im going to see.
it would have been aweaome if fede had videod his meetimgs with cameron and ridley and that was an extra on the blu rey esp seeing that neither will return to direct again
Compared to Alien Covenant- Alien Ressurection is an absolute masterpiece. I really don’t understand the Americans hate for this classic. A much much better and coherent movie than Alien 3. Alien 3 is just an AIDS allegory with bald bots.
Romulus looks fantastic. Rewatched Covenant last night and forgot how god awful the CGI on the aliens are. So bad. I thought what they did with David’s character was interesting.
this will live and die based on if the characters make dumb choices Prometheus and Covenant didn't work because people did really dumb stuff the ideas were fine

My only issue with it is the terrible CGI. I’ve always loved the movie, it was the first one I got to see at the cinema too.

On there being no face scarring, don't trust trailers on that. Remember in the Thor Ragnarok trailer they showed him having both eyes at the end.
