  • HOW TO USE A BAL-CHATRI TRAP FOR FALCONRY (BC TRAP) TO TRAP A RED TAILED HAWK FOR FALCONRY
    Join me as I go over my Bal-Chatri Trap and show you how I use it for trapping this years Red tailed Hawk.
    Thanks for watching our falconry adventures and make sure to check out my other videos as I have lots of how to videos on falconry (i.e. how to trap a hawk, how to train a hawk for falconry, how to build a giant hood, how to trade off and many more) We are also working toward "going live" on some hunts so you can join us and see what falconry is all about.
    A falconry license is required to own/hunt a native hawk in Ontario.
    Contact Ontario hawking club for more information.
    I'm in my third year of falconry and I'm always learning so please check with your sponsor if you have any questions.

    Hey Love your video's, I hope you keep doing them, it's a very good resource to watch and learn, as well as to observe the birds and how they are reacting. thank you for taking the time to video.

      I'm not sure as I'm in Ontario Canada. You should join some falconry fb groups to find someone in your area.

  • @chrisbaker3066

    The trap should have an inner cage away from the outer so the hawk cannot kill the mouse or grab it as appears to have happened here. Your videos are great but this kind of thing gives us all a bad name potentially.

    what i wanna see is the part where you put that hood on the bird.

    • @ACRfalconry
      @ACRfalconry  Год назад

      That's the easy part 🙂. Just slide the towel down off it's head and slide the hood on. I'm pretty sure it shows in a few of my videos on my channel.
