Outlast but each time I die, I restart the game

I attempted to play Outlast on Insane difficulty, which is basically permadeath! You die, you start from the beginning of the game. Can I do it? Will I ragequit? Will I have to watch the cutscenes again for the billionth time? Go ahead and find out!
