When you get red flagged, do not pull off into the grass (3:46). That's how YOUR car catches on fire - tall grass touching hot exhaust, brakes etc. Pull off to the side of the track, not off it.
@TheAllAmericanDriver once I get my funds and following up most it's a target future location. Unless you know anyone that wants to help sponsor it. I want to say the track rental is around 15k. Would need 50 drivers at 300$ a piece, 40 at 375 or 30 drivers at 500 just to break even. It's definitely something I want to do but I got to continue to build up to that.
Loved the video. The struggle is real... ;-) Makes me want to head out to the nearest track. Unfortunately here in Ontario, we're about to start our winter season. Shelby is going into storage soon 😢
Good lord a Mustang in that capacity should be 13/14s. You've got little 235hp cars doing low 14s at that track. Videography is real good but video needs to give a realistic look at what's really going on. If you're looking for input on this kind of stuff I'm happy to lend advice!
You have to consider the drivers, these are enthusiasts not competitors. A 14 is definitely possible, but I think a 13 would be really pushing it for most drivers. I want them back out when I can actually get more than 4 laps in on a track without an oil slick and I can give a better estimate of what the car can actually do. A 15 should be easy for the owner with some more practice 😁
Coming back to this video to say I hit a 1:15.8 with the same setup! Ha
Let’s go!

Poor Shelby! Time for winter tires and some ice racing! That's a thing up there isn't it?
Loved this style of video. Bummer about the times though, between the oil and tires it was just a tough break
Glad you enjoyed it! New style for the channel.

Just wasn't in the cards that day... try again.
That's all we can do! Time for the sequel.
