I have recently completed a course from a reputed institute in Bangalore, and I was very confident with the knowledge I had for manual testing as I had gone thoroughly with the syallabus they taught. However, when I appeared for an interview my confidence shattered as the questions that came in the written test were mostly out of the syallabus that they taught and even in the sample interview questions. Then one of my mate in the batch referred me to your videos and you had covered most of the parts of the questions that were asked in the written tests. I am glad that I found your videos and it is helping me a lot to gain knowledge to be a skilled tester. Entering negative number is Positive testing. Any number will be classified under positive testing (unless your requirements specify that only positive numbers are allowed). Negative testing will be entering non-numbers like alphabets, special characters.

As per my knowledge, in unit testing, tester will also check the other impacted area of the same module apart from bug is fix or not and in Retesting the only concern is, whether the bug is fix or not. We can automate regression testing but we can't automate retesting.
Retesting is done when it is sent for a bug fix to check if bug is existing again or not , but unit regression is done whenever changes are made/bug is fixed/any sub functionality is deleted by developer.

In retesting they will check entire features where in unit testing only modified feature.
