Wanted to post a comment on your videos for ages, but this one I can't miss !
I was sooooo frustrated when Adriana firs posted this clip as it was cut down to a small segment...
Thus thank you soooooo much for posting the whole thing ! Those concert finales from the Leisure Tour were the epitome of a Kid Creole show, which explains why I fell in love with the band and never stopped loving it...
You are very generous with us posting all this material (but it would truly have been such a waste to let it die somewhere on a shelf, stuck in an old, fading VHS...
My respectful gratefulness Sir Hernandez for this precious gift.

Hi Andy .... thank you so much those sentiments. Yeah had a ton more of stuff but many of the vids did fade ... fortunately some survived ...some in better shapes than others.
You know some people lack anthropological sensibility ... they do not realize that analog stuff does disappear.. they complain if everything is not pristine digital quality. They think I can afford to spend thousands on restoring them by sending them to NASA or something. As it as I spent a small fortune converting many from PAL and/or 3/4inch U-Matic never mind the hours of excavation, editing and uploading.
If somehow they find a badly faded tape of Jesus Christ's birth or dinosaurs roaming the earth or a map of buried treasure is found they will probably protest that it is bad quality and throw it away.

Andy, got to tell ya this story. During Super Bowl 39 in Jax, one of the pre-game soirees for corporate sponsors one of the talents entertaining was the great-nephew of Cab Calloway, who performed his late uncles act. Having been a fan of Calloway since the film, "Stormy Weather" I've always been hooked on this music. Talking with his nephew, he told me of a video recording of an act that did a "funk town version of one of Calloway Trademark hits. The talent he referred to was... Kid Creole. I thought what a complement to still "The Hardest Working Group in Show Business!" Real pleasure communicating on-line with you. You guys always keep the sun shining , from the Sunshine State.
Now that is a story .... WOW .... Cab was a source of inspiration for us .... thank you much for sharing that .... take care and so cool you enjoy the videos.

This "Indiscreet" song from The Coconuts album has fantastic drive.That album despite one hit is underrated and probably marketing and distribution failed. Also Darlin' from band album in first hearing seems softy to me but this live version is perpetum mobile funk!
